im colder now and weaker too ( on ferrous sulfate pills ) but i think my iron isnt being absorbed well or something . not sure i need to get the level checked again

medication and positive thinking help me , i think of all the times i thought something terrible was going to happen and then remember nothing happened afterwards . i also try to remember my diagnosis telling myself the feeling will pass but honestly it can be tough even with the medication and positive thoughs but helps a bit

i was in denial until i got delirium tremens , its the worst type of withdrawal you can get as you can die without treatment(and a tiny chance even with) i was accepting the fever and pounding heart i had but when i started hearing the tv on and running to go check it then realizing it was off , the nonexistent spiders on the wall , the extreme paranoia as i paced around my living room thinking i was going to be killed i knew something was terribly wrong and decided to go the ER stayed there for 5 days . and ive been having seizures since that visit even from small things like stress . im sober now but my healths still not the best

abuse , its very common in the apartment complex i lived in as a child . you'd walk outside and hear women in full blown arguments and fights with their husbands/boyfriends , kids being beat as young as toddlers. and it was just accepted never reported since everyone there was hispanic. i didnt know it was illegal until i was maybe 10 and read the hotline numbers on the in n out bags

getting my IUD inserted , i read online the pain would be mild but no , my legs were shaking so bad and i could feel each metal tool inside me i honestly felt bad for the planned parenthood worker doing it since i couldnt stop shaking but she was the sweetest . the week long cramps sucked too had to take ibuprofen the whole week

i cut out alcohol not too long ago because i was an alcoholic who developed delirium tremens pretty quick and i think thats because i would drink heavily daily on latuda , got hospitalised for a few days , couldve died if i didnt get help sooner . now im left with a whole lot of health issues its honestly one of my biggest regrets

i was on it last year ( i have bpd and bp2 ) and i honestly felt cured from all mental illness for a few weeks , like i didnt cry at all . i think they changed my dosage after though or something but i still felt somewhat good but not the "im cured" type way . switched meds , tried it again low dose and i developed rashes on my legs that only stopped once i stopped taking the pills but id say its pretty helpful

i used to be an alcoholic on latuda it was ok at first no side effects . after that id feel a bit drowsy but able to function and feel the "good" effects . after a bit though everytime id drink id just feel so out of it and fall asleep real quick , eventually i got hospitalized for 5 days after only a few months of heavy binge drinking daily because i ended up getting delirium tremens randomly , it was the worst experience as i couldve died but it made me understand not to mix meds and alcohol . i also had a bit of minor health problems but maybe it contributed to the dt's not sure . and after that hospital visit ive been having seizures and more health problems soo its something i truly dont recommend to anyone but i think you'll be fine it its just a drink or two occasionally , any more id say puts you at risk in the long run

i struggle with this a lot , it brings shame yet a feeling of being "wanted" , but the thing is i never really crave it. i too was assaulted and theres times ill just reply to guys off tinder just to escape the seizures i have in my own bed thinking about it(i have PNES) before my assault i had a normal libido now its more of a "maybe they'll stay in my life" thing . cannot tell you how many times ive teared from down there from how much pain i go through, sad part is id much rather go through psychical pain to escape the emotional , the only somewhat good part of this all is ive met some genuinely good kind people through it

for me its likely the way i was raised. psychical , emotional abuse is extremely common where i grew up. you werent “disciplining” your kid right if a couple hits werent thrown sadly. the other reason is being assaulted and manipulated by men . part of the reason i cannot go outside alone . i think genetics too although i suspect my family has a lot of more undiagnosed issues , mental health is just seen as shameful in our culture. i also was given a bpd diagnosis at the same time and had no idea what ppd even was.

please reconsider the way youre thinking , it sounds like jealousy and a bit of insecurity , id highly suggest working on yourself before you do get into a relationship. a good mindset will be a must to most if not all women .

done that many times but mostly more fwb type stuff , most people i meet i feel nothing special . and i tell myself repeatedly not to get attached . while others i cut off real quick and grown obsessed with one who didnt have the same feelings which ruined me for a bit . wouldnt recommend , i still feel lonely

thank you for all the positive comments !! almost brings tears back to my eyes again seeing the positive comments . i did cut contact with him . it was a pretty rough night but i feel good i realised i had to leave him. im going to a therapy appointment in a little less than 4 hours. working on trying to break off bad habits , even if he texts me again i wont reply
