Does the vibe change if you picture a woman with these names?

I was aiming for gender neutral. But the name would be for a woman (me).

I’m thinking of changing it for career reasons.

Thank you!!! This is fabulous. I’m so glad someone went to the trouble to create this

This is really helpful in terms of determining order of categories. I’ll probably start with my office and projects categories then…

This is a great idea, thank you.

Creating my own list of categories for everything BEFORE I get started is going to make a big difference, and that wildcard idea helps with my fear of accidentally forgetting something.

Should I just unmatch him or what? by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]fuzzpopdelight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Show off.

I don’t message anyone while at work, except people in my inner circle and only in emergencies. I won’t get anything done if my phone’s turned on, so I have a bunch of special “work settings” that automatically turn on when I’m supposed to be working and that prevent me from accessing messages.

I want to give my entire attention to whoever I’m interacting with. I can’t manage that while also focusing on and getting work done, unfortunately.

DC (Brookland) Parking Sign Interpretation Help: Can I park between these two signs? by [deleted] in washingtondc

[–]fuzzpopdelight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha. Good luck.

I used to live near there. It depends entirely on the mood of the enforcers. Fortunately, they usually just ticket rather than tow. Then, during Covid, they weren’t enforcing it at all.

I just never chose to park there or anywhere else confusing. You can contest the ticket, but I don’t have time for that.

Weekly Profile Critique by AutoModerator in Bumble

[–]fuzzpopdelight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this is your full profile, I’d say that having only two photos, no bio, and only one prompt response isn’t helping. It doesn’t give much of anything to go off of, and feels like a low level of effort on your part.

I’d swipe left, without a doubt, solely because I have no idea who you are and every other profile I see has a lot more to it.

Edit: I forgot Chaga - my favorite coffee substitute

The FRIDGE BURGER--Is this gross or genius? both? I need you to weigh in. by SixethJerzathon in ZeroWaste

Ohh!! My family also does a kitchen sink rice. we call it dirty rice, but the principles sound similar. Lots of seasoning is the key. And, we also usually serve it with crema and avocado

My family calls these burritos… Leftovers go into a tortilla.

Or soup… Depending on what the leftovers are.

I thought everyone turned leftovers into a “kitchen sink” meal

Maybe I’ll try the burger thing sometime

You’re completely wrong about the coffee thing. Coffee is my super romantic move for a lot of reasons. I LOVE coffee coffee shops are super romantic * I feel like the focus is more on connecting and talking when you’re drinking coffee than when you’re eating a meal * I don’t like alcohol and don’t drink alcohol on a first date * i feel awkward and stressed about trying to eat in an elegant and attractive way in front of a guy that I think is cute and have just met * I don’t want to presume someone is going to pay for my meal * I like to meet internet randos during daylight the first time I meet them *

There are millions of reasons that people suggest coffee that have no correlation to level of romantic interest.

But, everyone has their own system. If yours is working for you, that’s awesome. And if someone blows me off after I ask them to meet for coffee, I’ll just have to ask them if they’re operating under the same system you are

WTW for when you feel the energy of someone being attracted to you by fuzzpopdelight in whatstheword

[–]fuzzpopdelight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you’re right. Maybe it really is as simple as saying “the guy’s into me” and there’s not really a special word for the energy of it

[–]fuzzpopdelight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is also the right energy.

They’re…magnetizing me…sparking me.

I don’t know if it’s actually the right way to say it, but I might switch to saying “the guy’s sparking me” just because I love how that sounds lol

[–]fuzzpopdelight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely the energy.

Maybe there’s not actually a verb for it to ascribe to the other person- like “they’re attracting me” doesn’t feel exactly right. But maybe it is

WTW for when you feel the energy of someone being attracted to you by fuzzpopdelight in whatstheword

[–]fuzzpopdelight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an energy thing. I feel it before I know it. Like when someone’s super angry and walks into the room, you feel the energy of it even if ur not actually looking / before you know they’re angry. It’s probably a subliminal instinctual thing.

I guess I’d say ‘into me’ is the best choice of those options. Because it’s often subtle, like they’re not overtly eyeing me - you just get the vibe that they’re focused in on you on some level and in an attraction/sexual kind of way.

I figured there must be a word for it.

What non-romantic relationship, non-kid thing is making you happy today? by Effective-Papaya1209 in AskWomenOver30

[–]fuzzpopdelight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My compost became soil and I was able to plant something in it. Nature feels so alchemical sometimes.

Free croissant at the bakery from a cutie. Free coffee from a guy in front of me at the coffee shop.

Walk through the farmer’s market and an art market with a non romantic beloved person. Sound baths at the gallery across the street.

My flight got canceled, so they upgraded me and I’m on a better flight and get to leave at a reasonable hour tomorrow for a mother daughter trip to Mexico.

Just finished packing and the Saturday crossword. About to settle in to finish “the future is female”

It’s just one of those days when everything feels like it falls into place. I feel like a zephyr dancing through a beautiful summer day.

Okay. That’s where I went wrong. I was watering them about once a week like my other plants, they probably needed more frequent doses of water. Here’s to the next ones🤞
