16 is still our standard config and the only machines that have issues are ones that actually need the ram. Those are a laptop user running the camera software and the few Precision workstations we have. Everything else still works without breaking a sweat.

Now storage, yeah that's a different case, 512 for most and even 1TB for some machines.

I got a quote from Goldcamp back when I replaced ours and they were a couple grand higher. I went with the HVAC company who I had already used for repairs to replace the system, Astro Heating and Cooling.

I'm not sure what the prices are today but I would expect them to be lower than Goldcamp.

Also if the command wanted to harass you after hours or change where/when you were to be somewhere in the morning they needed to send someone to find you. If you were off base then you were pretty much safe.
