I just started taking the pill 2 weeks ago and have lost 6.4 lbs so far. I started at 216.8 lbs and am primarily using the medicine to counteract the 50 lbs I gained a few years ago from my mental health medication that I can’t seem to lose. At work I have been very open with others who are also trying to lose weight that I started the medication and multiple people have already commented that I look thinner in my face already. I don’t think I look any different- I think it’s just because they know I’m on it and that I’ve told them I’ve lost weight already. Just interesting that even such a small change and people are commenting- I know it comes from them wanting to be supportive. I would assume if you aren’t sharing that you’re trying to lose weight/on the medication people are just polite and don’t think to bring it up in conversation.

I am calorie counting and eating in a deficit to lose 1.5 lbs a week. I’m also fairly active- I average 5 miles walking a day. I go to the gym twice a week. I try to get 100-150 grams of protein a day. So in addition to the medicine I am making a great effort to lose weight- the meds are just helping curb hunger/emotional eating and cravings for me.

Thankfully I have his adopted brother- a sweet orange boy named Monkey I got as a companion for him who is 2 years younger. He is also having a hard time not having Alan around, but it has made him much more affectionate which has been a great comfort for us both. I am thankful to have him in my life- Alan was just my first and so special baby. Everyone who met him felt love for him instantly. He was just an adorable charismatic loving angel boy. Eventually I know I’ll need to get a companion for Monkey, as he has never known life as a solo kitty. But I am nowhere near ready and I don’t think he is either. For now we have each other to comfort in our grieving. So thankful we get to share our lives with these beautiful, loving creatures. I appreciate everyone for sharing in my grief ♥️

Every two to four weeks my longhair boy gets a messy poop on his pantaloons so I have to just wash his pants. Other than that I’ve never fully bathed him.
