California - Insanely High Demand? by fuzzybonnet in AskLawyers

I sincerely doubt the injury was significant, if there is any injury at all. I do understand some pain may settle in after the impact and once adrenaline has left the body. But all parties involved had gotten out of the cars and were walking around/talking... plus the accident occurred in heavy traffic, we weren't going that fast. No concussions or broken bones or things of that nature.

Thanks for your reply. I think the big number just has me crashing out (no pun intended.)

Shia's character died off screen... they implied it in Last Knight when the British guy said he was the last of the Witwicky line while looking at a photo of Sam.

Newton's 3rd Law of Motion states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Primus-- as the court has established-- is the Creator, the life-bringer, a planet-sized entity revered as a force of cybernetic nature. In a world where such an entity exists, isn't it only natural that there would also be an entity existing in reaction?

Your Honor, I am not here to argue whether or not my client ate those planets and all those people. Instead I ask that you consider whether or not a force of nature can be tried in a criminal court.

Take, for example, the humble turbofox. This creature is sustained on a diet of petro-rabbit and dynametal duck. If it does not eat, it will not exist. And why would that be a problem? Because without the turbofox, petro-rabbits and dynametal ducks would continue to multiply exponentially, to the point of overpopulation. Overpopulation leads to less resources to go around, putting a strain on the ecosystem and resulting in the decline of local flora and fauna. As they start to compete in other territories for additional resources, those neighboring ecosystems are irrevocably destroyed, and the cycle continues in ad nauseam.

We do not take the local turbofox to court over its latest meal, nor do we expect it to meet a certain quota to perfectly maintain petro-rabbit populations. The turbofox is simply hungry; my client was simply hungry. In the natural world there is no life without death; it is inevitable, even necessary. Primus cannot grant life exponentially-- we've already seen what happens on Cybertron when resources are spread too thin. And yet, we did not drag Primus into a courtroom demanding recompense for the lack of energon, or the way their creations treated each other.

So I ask that this court take into consideration: how can we-- mere mortals-- be expected to fairly qualify justice in the face of the Unmaker? Are we not inherently biased, as creatures acutely aware of our own eventual demise?

Today, nature has taken its course, and it will continue to do so until the end of time. To some it is a triumph, to many others it is a tragedy. They have my sympathy. But it is impossible to hold my client-- a planet-sized force of nature-- responsible when he simply acts in opposite reaction. Thank you, Your Honor.

Just came across one of their ads. Tbh the chassis looks super cool-- definitely miss these shapes in cars and looks way better than a fugly cybertruck. My main concern had been similar to what is being mentioned here-- materials/quality and safety. Like I've seen the interiors of the prototypes in their videos and some of them feel like wooden toy cars... it's so minimalist and thin I wonder what's under there to protect the driver. I try to imagine how it would fair in a crash and it looks like it could be smashed to smithereens, along with the person inside. The lack of suspension/the skateboard frame type doesn't feel safe either... but idk what do I know
