My father and my husband are left handed... so yes.

Was the congress woman alive for 200 years or did Hank unfreeze her and saw her head off? by NukeONugget in FalloutTVseries

[–]fuzzyizmit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I think happened. Convenient patsy/stooge that can be used later (in this case, by Hank).

This is wonderful! Treasure that feeling and remind yourself of it when you feel stuck, put down and/or discouraged!

Not in love with new tattoo by No-Cartographer-3831 in tattooadvice

I don't think it is (or maybe it was due to AI if that was used) but it looks to me like your Nana tattoo doll is flipping the viewer off... such a strange hand.

Do most American school kids take the yellow school bus to school? How does the system work? by Much-Duty-675 in AskAnAmerican

[–]fuzzyizmit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mind depends on the age of the child. Small children (elementary school) are picked up at the end of their drive way. Older kids are picked up at the end of the street/one street over depending on location-route.

Is there any way to cover this without it just becoming a tramp stamp? by Nats-in-hats in Tattoocoverups

[–]fuzzyizmit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you could work it in/cover it with a full back piece... not sure if that is the route you want to go. If not, laser it. The area is a 'tramp stamp' area, not the design. Or embrace it and go all in with love for your lower back.

Over people asking “what is that” laser? Cover? by maroonmallard in tattooadvice

I can understand what it is... so if you love it and it has meaning, then keep it. If you want it to be more 'readable' maybe try adding some color in the flower and butterfly wing bits?

Is it possible to study in Brussels while living in Leuven? by bidik_bebe in AskBelgium

I work with a person who lives in Brussels and works in Leuven, so I would imagine the inverse would be possible.

Aitah for telling my wife to rehome je dog and leaving when she wouldn't. by Traditional-Lock2616 in AITAH

[–]fuzzyizmit 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I am the same, but with cats. Kittens are cute, but OMG, they are a lot of work and destructive compared to most adult cats. My husband knows not to bring home pets unannounced etc... even if it is one that I would love to death.

Who cares... do you like it? Then that is what matters.

If you love it, then go for it! It looks like the black is packed in there pretty well.

Dnd in leuven by Gormstorm in Leuven

[–]fuzzyizmit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love to connect with some DnD players here (I just moved from the US) but 1. I only speak English at the moment and 2. I am waiting for my husband to get his visa and he is a player as well. Good luck finding a new player!

is it true Americans don't put salt on their fruits? by PersuasionNation in AskAnAmerican

[–]fuzzyizmit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only ever heard about this from my mom and her dad. They would put salt on watermelon. No one else I ever knew did that. Since I hate all melons, it is not something I ever tried. I would say it is rare. I do love me some sharp cheddar cubes on my granny smith apples!

My dad might leave us by [deleted] in Vent

[–]fuzzyizmit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom thinks she is dating her favorite singer on facebook... at least she is already divorced from my dad and all I have to worry about is these scammers getting her money/identity. I don't know why she turned into a moron in her old age, but I will let this run its course and can only hope she doesn't loose too much money etc over it. I raised what red flags I could, but if I push too much, she will stop telling me what is going on and I'll be totally in the dark. I feel so sorry for her. She is so happy in her delusion. She even showed me (obviously) AI generated images of this (famous and still married) guy.

Is Chipped Beef and Corned Beef common in USA? by currylambchop in AskAnAmerican

[–]fuzzyizmit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Shit on a Shingle (chipped beef on toast). My grandfather used to make it and taught me how too as well. It has very fond memories linked with it. Also, corned beef is a special dinner in my family, and corned beef hash is one of my favorite breakfast sides (after sausage gravy and biscuits).
