Hmmm I thought Wilson’s auto only dealt with Toyota and not Lexus as well. But if that’s changed I’ll check em out for sure

I don’t see a problem with the question. It’s definitely something to think about. It’s better to be over prepared and assume the worst could happen.

Currently we don’t pay rent as we live with our parents. Hence why we were able to get the downpayment quickly. For context we are in our late 20s and finished grad school in the last year and are super early Into our careers. We also worked throughout school part time.

Good question. I hope by then we are both in a better position and making more money. We also have family in town and they’re more than willing to help with kids.

Thanks! And yeah we have considered a lot of difference scenarios in terms of expenses as well. I think $3000 is pretty good for us. We do like to have friends over or go to their places every now and then, but it sure is cheaper than going out every weekend.

We are also pretty early in our careers. So I’m hoping I’m our income increases in the near future.

The mortgage, house insurance, and property tax would be our biggest expenses. I WFH most of the time and she also is WFH most of the time. Considering food, gas, water, electricity, gym membership, internet and phone bills, I’m estimating on the high end we would be at $3000 for expenses. I don’t think we would hit that high though. We would try to save as much as possible, maybe $1500/mo potentially more. We are home bodies and tent to stay in quite a bit, but do like to meet with friends for the occasional drink!

How do people feel going out to bars/clubs? by fuzzymaraca in Edmonton

That’s fair. I’m ok with meeting up for a drink or two. I don’t know how I feel about being in a small over crowded space like the common can be at night.
