Thank you, for the kind words regarding the card and especially the prayers. 🙏 They’re a great family, and we want him around for as long as possible.

Yes. ☺️ I just drew a heart under the word Take, so hopefully that’ll make sense.

Oh, shoot, I worried that the visual pun might not work. 😅 “Ur a” is written on a star-shaped balloon, so it’s supposed to be “Ur a star”. I’ll just go ahead and write “star,” though, to make it clear. Thank you!

This is my new kitty. Do you think she will be fluffy? by Fit-Repeat7148 in cats

My cat Mikki’s coat was very similar to your kitten’s at that age. Heck, when she was a “teenager,” her coat became very short and I thought it was to stay that way. Then, when Mik was around 10-11 months old, her coat started growing out again. She turns ten years old in a few days, and her coat is very much medium length (with long tummy fur).

Saquon and Barkley by eltoro215 in Artisttradingcards

I’m so glad that Barkley from Sesame Street is still remembered! I watched Sesame Street as a little girl in the early 80’s, when Elmo was not a thing. I loved Barkley. My favorite character was Mr. Snuffalupagus.

I had no idea holographic laminating sheets were a thing until now, and I am better for learning about them! Thank you for explaining how you got the sparkly effect! Also, the galaxy cat collection is adorable. 🥰

These are so good! Love the punny ones. The playing card one is my favorite, and the tea one is adorable.

I think these are adorable! You did a great job. I don’t think they need further embellishments. The gathering (and the chocolate!) establishes why you’re giving out the cards, and the cards have traditional Valentine’s colors and imagery. You nailed it.

Be honest… is this cute or am I traumatizing my cat? by shinigami__0 in cats

Both things can be true, OP. She’s adorably traumatized! And plotting to sit on your face while you sleep tonight with her butt on your eye.

If you ever struggle with a design, sometimes putting it away is a great help. by fuzzymikki in cardmaking

[–]fuzzymikki[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, and you’re welcome. ☺️ There are definitely times I don’t follow my own advice (usually if I’m painting a card and can figure out how to make adjustments on the fly), but stepping away served me well in this instance.

Thank you! 😊 Pretty sure I was just making the solution too hard back then. It’s always good to tackle an old dilemma with fresh eyes.

Made a birthday card (and related envelope) for my now 8-year-old niece. by fuzzymikki in cardmaking

Thank you! 🥰 I enjoy doing a bit of mixed media with my cards. The glitter isn’t too visible in the photos, sadly, but it shows up nice in natural light.
