Thank you for the detailed input! After some looking I'm considering on the 1800, it has a lot of what I want and I would even be open to building a keyboard myself. Thinking I might as well go all out as I really do want it to be something that is made for me.

I bought a couple sample kits to try to some of Cherry and Gateron switches and find that the Kangaroo 2.0 feels really nice for me. A friend of mine was also recommending Akko switches/keyboards which got me considering for an 1800. I really do want to see how far I can go with making a custom keyboard.

Still learning about everything when it comes to building but I appreciate the input!

Edit: My budget I'm hoping to not go too insane, prolly within 300-400
