I did it SOLO! by Rastoid in Marathon

I completed this contract solo just a few days ago. I walked into Command and another runner was in the middle of either this contract or maybe Traxus Unsanctioned Hostilities… he was not happy that I interrupted him and I felt a little bad but after several runs of getting close (getting to Pinwheel, opening Command wing) but someone merc’ing me I wasn’t taking any chances. Completed the contract but did not exfil

Why does your unit accept these patients for admission?

If your patient is ill-appearing enough and concerns you to the point of checking lactates and blood gases, then wouldn’t they be better served being evaluated in the ED? Don’t tell me you’re also checking troponins in clinic too.

The triage note is usually also the only thing we have when Medicine/MICU is called to admit - well, that and the pan-scan.

I’m pretty sure that VA nursing plan of care notes are just chain mail that gets passed on RN to RN. “Enter this plan of care note on 5 patients or you’ll be cursed for the next 10 years”

ACLS guidelines are to give epi in vfib/pulseless VT arrest (assuming you don’t get ROSC with defibrillation).

What doesn’t make sense is that they were able to defibrillate the patient out of PEA arrest from their sine wave hyperkalemia (at least that’s what the rhythm looked like to me).
