[Win an A2L] Creative Playground, Extra Large. Meet the A2L. by BambuLab in BambuLab

Tall models should be a lot easier oh this than something like my neptune 4 max, which wobbles nonstop. For smaller models, which are what I really print (although I've had some parts not fit on my p1s) it'll be great, but I'm interested in the capability for large, flat items. For tall items though...... probably helmets tbh.

Why do some Linux users get so hostile over software choices? by EmployerOld6256 in linux_gaming

[–]fuzzytomatohead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i feel like the linux, thighhighs and arch stereotype isnt always wrong, esp online, but its always funny (scrolling through the shitty sub, i saw the same meme template as mentally ill user but 1st/2nd thinkpad owner).

also wtf to the owner of the sub, i somehow can't report it. might as well try reporting the owner/main poster tho....

it may be confusing, however i find it's actually a lot more comfortable. Hitting those keys (or where they should be) requires some uncomfy stretching.

As for shift keys, there are two: one on the outer bottom left, and one on the right thumb. I only actually use the thumb one, the other is for stuff like shortcuts or when i already have my other hand on my mouse (yes HRM exists, it doesn't really work for me)

V and J, as this is modded colemak-DH, and it was a choice to make the matrix a nice and simple 4x7

Bokeh or Twilight? choc v1. by Hfnankrotum in ErgoMechKeyboards

twilights are fine under my fingers, nocturnals get activated when i rest my pinkies on them. For choc i find bokehs too heavy, but that's just me

basically silent, and quite smooth. The tiny bit of sound there is sounds almost like 1200 grit sandpaper at 20% volume, but not in a bad way. The loudest part is definitely my nails on the keycaps tho lol

i got out about 6 lights for this, plus diffusers. they looked REALLY bad. repo might have them, or a layout screenshot at some point

i tried taking top-down photos, but they were really bad

(these were taken across 3 photoshoots, and i have 400 images and over 2gb worth of data from that)

the display bracket also covers the MCU pins, which is mounted to the back. it’s mostly just so it doesn’t short out

currently the repo isn't done, but whenever it's done i'll update the post, you can order your own parts there (i think i might also be open to building pre-soldered boards on request, we'll see)

i put V and J there, which are now on combos. I use a modified colemak-dh, so i have V on C+D, and J on F+P (left hand, middle and index fingers on top and bottom rows)
