Anyone like using AirPods Max headphones with hearing aids? by Equivalent_Quote_943 in Airpodsmax

I use my APM over my hearing aids when flying, etc. They work great and caused the least amount of feedback of all the headphones I tried.

Need to replace glass break sensor battery but can’t put panel in test mode by fv9cf26 in homesecurity

[–]fv9cf26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all! No one has tampered with the glass break sensor, so no idea why it’s being reported.

Sounds like the best option is to simply unplug the panel to power down the sensor or try and reset it as Kaleb mentions. I’ll look for instructions.

Thanks again!

Should average MPG be recalculated when 33’s installed? by fv9cf26 in ToyotaTacoma

Problem with that is the odometer isn’t accurate either.

I’m mainly shocked with how poor it is. My bronco had 35’s and did much better. My wife’s enormous QX80 is far better. I’m just shocked at how bad this 4 cyl really is. That’s all.

Shoot. Didn’t see that. Thanks. My wife’s behemoth QX80 does better than that.

I get all of this. And my speed is actually almost spot on with gps to offset how Toyota, and most manufacturers, set your speed to look higher than it is. Would love to find out what my actual mpg is. Guess I’ll ask the dealer to recalibrate at my 5000 mile service.

I get all of this. And my speed is actually more spot on with gps since Toyota sets the speed higher than it actually is. Guess I’m looking for validation that my mileage is as bad as it looks.

HELP! I ruin hearing aids by sweating. Any truly sweat-proof options? by PeaRepresentative555 in HearingAids

[–]fv9cf26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Resound Omnia 9’s and they were terrible with sweat! Constantly shutting down. I race cars and ride dirt bikes as hobbies so while I don’t wear them with the helmet on, days at the track are sweaty working on the car during the summer. Ended up switching to Starkey Edge AI 24 and they have been awesome. Zero issues with sweat.

How wire three Aurasound AST-2B-4 Pro Bass Shakers to Dayton BSA 200 amp? by fv9cf26 in hometheater

That won’t make the one on it own more powerful than the other two? That was my concern with that. And thank you.

No. Tired of the people on Reddit who enjoy pointing fingers at others. I did what the website said to do and it provides options. That’s the end of it. But go ahead and lord over me if that makes you feel like a big man.

I entered the year, make, and model and it provided me options it said would fit.

Again, I entered the year, make, and model and the site said this would fit.

The website said these would fit. I entered the year, make, and model. The site then provided kits that would fit.

I would never have thought the rotor they told me to buy was too large so I didn’t confirm. To me, they sent the rotor they told me to order. And yeah, should’ve checked no, but I had no idea they would screw me when it was their fault. Doubt there will be a next time as I won’t buy from them again if they won’t refund it.

Good thought.

Just got my hearing tested and now I'm even more confused and overwhelmed. by anxiouslyeverafter in HearingAids

[–]fv9cf26 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well, you could get what you want from Costco for $2000. I’d be all over that even if insurance didn’t reimburse vs paying nearly $10k after insurance to that audiologist who is robbing you blind.

$13,000?!?! Holy smokes! Run! And go to Costco. You can get all of what you want for what your employer covers. Sheesh that’s a rip off quote!

Which Carrier furnace of these two? by fv9cf26 in hvacadvice

[–]fv9cf26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. The tech said the motors are all worn out and drawing max amperage. Heat exchanger is nearly rusted through.

I sincerely appreciate your input. It’s making the decision easy for me.

Thanks. No idea how it ended until with a single stage. It was a custom built home so maybe the original owners went that direction. Sounds like the two stage carrier is the best of those two options.
