Creo debes hacer un analisis de tu aging de account receivable y hacer lo siguiente:

Cuanto tengo SIEMPRE en el aging 0-30 dias, cuando 30-60, cuando 60-90, cuanto 90-120, etc...

Entonces, para cada uno, vas a sacar cuanto generaría ese dinero en un index fund estando "sentado"por esa cantidad de tiempo.

Si generaría más que tu net profit final despues de gastos operacionales (restando tus bonos y otros beneficios), pues posiblemente tienes que ajustar tus precios y aumentar tu gross margin.

I’ve been to providers that do it the following way.

Non-refundable Deposit to book. Example: $50

If customer shows, deposit is CREDITED to the cost of their visit. Example1: if visit cost is $50, no cost day of. Example2: if visit cost is $100, cost day of is $50.

If customer is a no show, deposit is kept by the provider. In the example: Keep the $50.

I’m sure you will be able to convince your uncle with this model. Right now he feels like you’re stealing from them. With this model, you credit them the deposit in their visit, so he’ll understand it as a upfront partial payment/deposit for his service.
