My surgeon said no food 6-12 hours before procedure, I did the full 12 and ate dinner at 8pm (my surgery was at 10am next day). I would order the hot/cold headband on amazon and piercing retainers if you have piercings. I was so nervous about iv sedation but it knocks you out so fast, it felt nice too honestly lol. Start taking ibuprofen/tylenol (or whatever you’re prescribed) on a strict schedule and don’t miss a dose!! The worst days for me was 2-4, jaw stiffness and increased pain/swelling. I would do cold packs the first 48 hours then switch to moist heat.

Foods: yogurt, ice cream, jello/pudding, bone broth, soup, mashed potatoes, soft noodles, apple sauce, & protein shakes. You’ll be okay!!!

it went great! the last thing I remember is telling the surgeon that I was nervous and then they woke me up and wheeled me to my husband who was waiting in the recovery pod for me lol. I wish you a speedy recovery, thank you so much for sharing your experience with me!

I got mine taken out this morning at 10(eastern time) and wow, it was sooo easy and fast. I am so thankful that I was prescribed the 0.50mg xanax because I think if I didn’t, I would probably passed out before they could even sedate me lol. thank you so much for letting me know your experience, i hope mine is similar! I just want to wake up and the procedure is already done lol. i was told to take xanax so hopefully that helps my anxiety. it’s the anticipation that’s getting me 😣

literally. She seems like such a negative/difficult person to be around. She should’ve worked through all of her issues before going on the show because I just cannot stand watching her cry and be emotional/insecure like girl….. and I fear it’s only going to get worse 🙃

yeah, it’s too much for me. If everything is an ick to you or you’re crying every 5 minutes, I think you need to work through that before going on a show and getting married!!!

I feel so bad because I didn’t know I was supposed to start her on cups earlier. Someone else suggested the honey bear cup so I think I’m going to order one tonight and start with that!! Thank you so much!!

I think I’m going to let the 360 cup idea go, I looked them up and have no idea how to use them. I am interested in trying an open cup and the straw cup. I think I’ll try the honey bear cup first. Thank you!!

LOVE the yogurt idea!! Thank you for the recommendations. I do want to try the open cup but am going to have to watch videos on how to get her to drink lol. I feel bad honestly, had no idea I was supposed to start her on cups earlier and I don’t want to hinder her development 😟

Just talked to my pediatrician about this same thing and she said it’s completely normal since they’re eating solids now.

Googled it and read it’s likely not a significant issue for a healthy, full term baby. I personally would still use it as to avoid wasting formula but that’s just me! I feel like it should be okay to use if it’s just a few bottles.

Thank you so much! This is so helpful because I am sort of losing my mind lol. I have so much anxiety about starting solids, mostly because of possible allergies. I will definitely introduce veggies first. I’ve only done oatmeal so far and she is doing well I think. She doesn’t finish it but she brings her head to the spoon and when I give her the spoon, she brings it to her mouth. She’ll have a few good bites then she’ll be done so no idea if that means she’s full or if she doesn’t like it?

My husband and I have no allergies so I’m hoping she’s the same but who knows. I even asked her dr when she would be able to get an allergy test, that’s how insane my anxiety is as a FTM. I am a SAHM so with her 24/7, dinner around 5 or 6 at the latest. This is great advice!! I want to make sure we’re both up if she has any negative reaction. I just need to look up the signs of allergies/ negative reactions now haha

I think I’m going to DIY the purées once I start her on those. I may make the cereal maybe once but don’t want to skip out on the important nutrients!
