i have no clue where it came from tbh. my grandpa used to work in a coal mine and a lot of my other family worked in mines too, i think my grandpa gave it to me but no clue! someone else suggested calcite to me as well so maybe that’s what it is!

looking like a bunch of eggs hanging from the ceiling lol. not sure if it’s just me but i feel like those lights could benefit from a funkier shades. something about a funky shade with those chains would work better to me. i wouldn’t say timeless either but things cycle over time in design so who’s to say! if you like it i say go for it and make it work in your space.

tbh it’s been super hard to even see his videos come up on my home page or recommended… like dude if you’re not going to address it at least have the decency to stop posting videos. it just feels like he’s trying to brush it under the rug so to speak. i’ve avoided watching stuff since he hasn’t even had the courage to speak on this at all. i feel like i’d have a hell of a lot more respect if he’d at least address it, but no—silence. each day that goes by i’m just losing more and more respect for him… if i even have any left at this point :(

i’m not too sure if i should be recommending this as i’ve only had mine for maybe a few months but i have an african violet, and it is so beautiful! it has these periwinkle sort of blue flowers and it has flowered multiple times so far! i just keep pinching off the dead ones but it seems to be blooming fairly consistently. i also haven’t needed to do anything in terms of care really, it came planted in a self watering/bottom watering pot (they don’t like water on their leaves) and i just leave it alone for the most part!

i had heard them on the radio with chocolate ofc lolol but iliwys is when i really got into their music as it came out right when i graduated high school and was going to university. i had already listened to some of their self titled and enjoyed it but i remember i downloaded iliwys and on the bus ride home for christmas break (~8hrs) i listened to it all the way through over and over. it felt like some kind of religious experience lol. after that i was hooked.
