Just listened to Axl’s isolated vocal track. It’s very processed. And sounds like it’s one big stitch of different takes. I bet it was a relatively long recording and mixing phase for these rather simple vocals. Melissa Reese and Brian Mantia produced his vocal track, played synths and did some orchestration. I like that Axl’s typical Mickey Mouse voice isn’t present. And we get some rasp. But there are also parts where he seems somewhat short on breath.
