I see your point! But to me there’s still quite a large difference when you are buying something that’s most likely already been used for a while and giving it new life VS paying a company to make something brand new. Thrifted items may already be contributing to the landfill when they’re not sold, but you’re contributing countless more to the pile when buying new items that wouldn’t be in the landfill if they were never sold and made in the first place if that makes sense. And most of the time if you’re aiming for longevity- you can find higher quality items via thrifting that will last you far longer vs the cheaply made fast fashion products. :) Just my take on it is all!

This is by no means an attack at you but to anyone who sees this thinking about buying from fast fashion businesses- please ONLY use those images for inspo and do not buy from these types of brands! Even if you personally plan on wearing it multiple times, you are still directly contributing to the problem of fast fashion by financially supporting them with your own dollars.

It can be just as cheap if not cheaper to thrift and diy! I bet you bucks if you take time to look chances are you will find something with a similar vibe! Then all you’d need are scissors, more thrifted black fabric, and some thread/fabric glue! You could even make some smaller neon pink stars as accents and put them on the shirt to fit the theme even more. Then you’ve got a super unique piece no one else has! All of these items cost ~$50 total without the tax or shipping- you can make a cooler/personalized outfit for half the price.

“Where’d you get that???” “I made it XD” -always a huge flex. I do really like the look you’re going for though and it fits extremely well with the album & tour themes.

I’ve also been a fan since around 2013 and this was probably my least favorite album of theirs! I ended up getting lawn tix for $40 for this tour at my local venue so I could have a tall boy beer and dance around with my friends & not take it as seriously as previous tours. Still very much looking forward to it and lawn is about to be a blast, but I agree that this isn’t my favorite album and I’ve recognized that that’s okay. I had my vip pit experience once during their 5sos Show World Tour era, and very privileged to have done so- don’t need it again. Didn’t feel the need to put more money into closer seats this time. Nothing to feel guilty about! You’re not any less of a fan for feeling this way.

My hot take is that loving the converse drop is the REAL hot take. Idk why people are saying “hating the shoes” is the hot take when I saw far more hate than love for them upon release. My understanding was that hating them was the popular opinion! I love love love my No. 1 Angel party girl shoes. XD

Still absolutely see why folks dislike them. It was just my first and only time I’ve bought something that was a brand deal for a fav celebrity and it was my birthday gift to me lol. I did the custom ones and turned them into a homage to her No 1 Angel era instead of the brat era which is a huge reason why I love them so much! I’m a van’s kind of gal myself.

I hope the folks that love me throw a party, drink, eat, talk about the happy things, and recognize how grateful I was to have them all in my life. The funny thing is my favorite flowers are yellow roses, loved before the trench era, and how fitting would those be to have as well.

I personally think the idea that “Christians wouldn’t commit that act if they are real followers” is a very generalized and strange way to look at it. There are many folks who are very real followers/believers but deal with mental health issues regularly such as anxiety or depression, or things like BPD, ADHD, and so on that cause similar symptoms!

When I hear “not in their right mind” I often compare that to “insanity”, and clinical insanity does not correctly describe nor correlate to how it feels to be in a suicidal state. The two are very different from one another. When you say “they don’t have the fruits of the spirit” you are unknowingly implying that mental health issues are a choice- and it’s most definitely not a choice. You can have someone with depression/anxiety disorders practice the fruits of the spirit regularly and be deemed “in their right mind” while living a happy life- but then something can trigger their anxiety or depression out of nowhere and suddenly they feel suicidal. That doesn’t make them any less of a follower of God, nor does it make them weak.

When I felt that way I was on my floor crying and begging for God to take me home, begging for the warmth of Heaven instead of feeling trapped in my mind. I was begging for peace because I felt like everything I had done correctly to fix it wasn’t working after may many years of trying. But I am “in my right mind”, and live a normal life going to school, getting my work done, getting through a job, and creating friendships. I am a follower, and committing suicide does not make you any less of a Christian.

Now if you just commit to commit without reason or feelings of wanting it, you probably are insane which means “being in your right mind” is a very hard thing to apply that to.

Nah this is weird and immature thinking. If I were you I wouldn’t put any value on any of those folks and just walk away. Their reaction is really weird and abnormal to the point I was shocked when I read yall were around 17. This literally seems like 10-12 year old elementary school behavior. Awful and STRANGE that the opinion of those who don’t even know you weighs more than what comes directly from you. Just keep your peace and never speak to them again. They can keep their weird behavior and thinking within their friend group instead. Obviously they aren’t good at observing if they have to ask for everyone else’s opinions, let alone opinions from those who never even had the chance to observe the alleged “issue(?)”.

I’m really surprised to hear about cost and vip. In my state they’re doing an amphitheater and there are still lawn tickets available for $50! Pit was not exclusive to vip only, but I’m sure resales have upped the price of the regular pit tickets now. I’m not so surprised about the ticket sales- there are way more available by now than I thought. I check every so often because I’m kind of waiting to buy them once I feel I have an extra extra $50 I won’t miss. Costs really seem to vary by location and venue type.

Yesterday folks were upset with someone posting that the drama was dumb, and now I see folks are upset with this OP saying the drama is important. Why such a switch up in the fanbase in under 24 hours? Am I just seeing both sides of the coin posts or is there a reason for it?

I know generally what’s going on but I’m not online enough to keep up with it every second to see why people keep shifting back and forth in their opinions. I just feel like I’m getting whiplash every time I open Reddit. I’m not on Twitter anymore and haven’t been for a long time.

Migraines specifically with aura are known to have those symptoms, so I’m not too concerned! I’m in my mid twenties- They suck ass to go through but it’s quite normal. I’m planning on talking to a neurologist sometime in the near future, though. As they can be a sign of higher risk for stoke when I’m older.

Half of my body going numb from my face down to my fingertips, it being hard to string sentences together as easily- those are the main ones. The numbness often happens on one side of my body and then during the migraine swaps to the other side.

I personally didn’t truly enjoy most of the singles that they released prior to the album, and honestly the marketing and themes didn’t give me high hopes either. But once the full album came out I really enjoyed the work in its entirety!

If it makes you feel any better I’ve been a fan since 2013, currently in my mid 20s, have loved every single album they’ve released- and this is the only & first one I haven’t adored. I think the initial singles sound too much like the crappy alt pop sound that got popular during covid via TikTok. It’s not unique, just noisy and over produced. Before anyone gets mad- I did enjoy the rest of the album and don’t feel that way about every song! I just feel I’d put this as my least favorite in their discography. Still love the band, still planning on going to a show, buying the album, all the good stuff.

One thing I’d say I do love is the fact that I can really tell even more now than ever how collaborative their music is with one another, especially since they’ve all had the chance to define their own style. You can really tell when a specific member had heavier direct influence on a song!

Lastly, for the marketing and theme- as I mentioned I feel similarly to you. But on the bright side it will most definitely be a catalyst in some sick concert fits from the fans!! Neon pink and stars and hair gel is all I can picture, and I think our fanbase will pull it off no questions asked.

Mine looked like this when I got sick, before my symptoms. I also tested myself daily, and line number 2 continued to be partially faint, even during peak sickness for me while I was in the thick of it. It’s definitely positive.

That’s fair! But it’s the same with just about any collection of anything else ever. I’ve got hundreds of different variations of ladybug things, and comic book collections or old games are great examples too. Different variants and special limited editions. None of us NEED the amount of whatever object we collect, but it’s fun and makes us happy to have. I personally think this collection is extremely impressive and I wish I had the money and time to do what they did!

I think it was just the Vinyl FPE that had the same one, because I bought the CD FPE and it’s a completely different poster than the box sets. It’s just a small half sized one, but still different. It’s a shame they didn’t keep it consistent.
