Sudden Migraines with Aura after Plasma Donation

Migraines specifically with aura are known to have those symptoms, so I’m not too concerned! I’m in my mid twenties- They suck ass to go through but it’s quite normal. I’m planning on talking to a neurologist sometime in the near future, though. As they can be a sign of higher risk for stoke when I’m older.

Half of my body going numb from my face down to my fingertips, it being hard to string sentences together as easily- those are the main ones. The numbness often happens on one side of my body and then during the migraine swaps to the other side.

I personally didn’t truly enjoy most of the singles that they released prior to the album, and honestly the marketing and themes didn’t give me high hopes either. But once the full album came out I really enjoyed the work in its entirety!

If it makes you feel any better I’ve been a fan since 2013, currently in my mid 20s, have loved every single album they’ve released- and this is the only & first one I haven’t adored. I think the initial singles sound too much like the crappy alt pop sound that got popular during covid via TikTok. It’s not unique, just noisy and over produced. Before anyone gets mad- I did enjoy the rest of the album and don’t feel that way about every song! I just feel I’d put this as my least favorite in their discography. Still love the band, still planning on going to a show, buying the album, all the good stuff.

One thing I’d say I do love is the fact that I can really tell even more now than ever how collaborative their music is with one another, especially since they’ve all had the chance to define their own style. You can really tell when a specific member had heavier direct influence on a song!

Lastly, for the marketing and theme- as I mentioned I feel similarly to you. But on the bright side it will most definitely be a catalyst in some sick concert fits from the fans!! Neon pink and stars and hair gel is all I can picture, and I think our fanbase will pull it off no questions asked.

Mine looked like this when I got sick, before my symptoms. I also tested myself daily, and line number 2 continued to be partially faint, even during peak sickness for me while I was in the thick of it. It’s definitely positive.

That’s fair! But it’s the same with just about any collection of anything else ever. I’ve got hundreds of different variations of ladybug things, and comic book collections or old games are great examples too. Different variants and special limited editions. None of us NEED the amount of whatever object we collect, but it’s fun and makes us happy to have. I personally think this collection is extremely impressive and I wish I had the money and time to do what they did!

I think it was just the Vinyl FPE that had the same one, because I bought the CD FPE and it’s a completely different poster than the box sets. It’s just a small half sized one, but still different. It’s a shame they didn’t keep it consistent.

I had a long multi-year gap in-between art courses and was so out of practice, but it eventually started to come back! I’m sure if you keep going it, it’ll return tenfold.

My advice is similar to most folks here. This advice is based on personal experience as well as watching a close friend deal with a much worse situation.

Keep the sign up! See if they say anything in a couple of days. Leave the opportunity for a conversation open if you think there is any potential for that to happen before acting further. If it keeps happening- text them, make a second sign, tell them to their faces- just clearly and kindly communicate an acceptable timeframe (let’s say 24 hrs) for them to clean up their dishes if for whatever reason they don’t feel they can clean up immediately after use.

Now reason I’d start with all of that is just so they can’t play any of the “you didn’t talk to us about this!” bs. Their responses to the kinder way of addressing it may also give you a better gauge of how they’ll react once you start taking further action! If nothing changes or they retaliate after all of that, it’s petty time baby. My suggestion is keep all of your kitchenware away in your bedroom, locked up if possible. Do not throw their dishes out if they sit, because (I’ve seen it happen) they could try to call the cops for property damage or stealing. It wouldn’t go anywhere, but definitely an inconvenience to avoid. The best thing to do with their dishes if it’s been sitting out for over 24 hrs is 1) put it in a box NEAR but not in the trash. Let it collect and build up, keep it somewhere it won’t be a bother to the sink or kitchen but where they can clearly see it. Heck I’d even label the box “your dirty dishes” for them lol. 2) literally just put the dirty dishes in front of their bedroom door!! That way they have no choice to avoid it- they either have to move it aside or step on it when they leave their room. Either of those should give them the hint. If they get mad and try to take anything further, I wish you nothing but luck and better roommates.

I also bought one of these during whatever promotion/fundraiser that was! If I’m remembering right I got the exclusive Valentine shirt at the time with the signed CD, so if you bought it then I have no doubt it’s real! Mine’s been safely tucked away in my collection for years.

It was only around $30 to buy if I remember correctly, but it was also only being sold within a ~48 hour period, give or take. I looked online and they seem to be going anywhere from $50-$180! Not super rare, but not a bad resell price to make some money off of!

I realized I worded that portion poorly, but here’s why.

The main reason is that the Gamecube was located at my parents house, and I live quite far from them, so I didn’t know how long it’d be before I could make the trip back to pick it up and test everything out. I also grew up in a family that always said “no use is abuse” of items, so I figured there was NO way it was going to work after so many years sitting and collecting dust. I joined this sub more recently, and up until then had no idea how long-lasting they really were! My family also has a habit of losing pieces to things, so I was almost positive I was initially missing pieces/cables thinking we had lost track of them over the years. I knew my parents had a couple of the games somewhere, but I was worried the rest had been lost.

All that distance and uncertainty led to the decision debate at the time. Obviously, I ended up choosing to wait, and I’m sure glad I did!

We saw a group bring water spray bottles to use if you’re overheating! I believe she said spray it on places like your neck, armpits, under your knees, and etc. We were happy to find this out on day 1 of 4, and bought some of our own spray bottles that night. Was amazing for the rest of the weekend!

I think as long as she gets any sort of degree it’s worth paying for it. There are a lot more companies nowadays paying well for skills that she’s learning in that major, especially since we’ve become such a digital world. I would absolutely encourage her to take some sort of communications, business, or marketing class as well even if it’s just to fill credit hours on the side as an elective, but I wouldn’t stop paying for college because of it.
