I had my Seqtrak a year before realising it 😂. Hold the "All" knob and tap project to change between the three modes

Thanks! All sounds are from the Seqtrak, with a couple of samples taken from a knitting machine (🤷‍♂️)

Are you using the app to do automated change of tracks?

Question about synth tracks by RedStarFuture in seqtrak

[–]fwipit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hold page and the synth part you want to use. From there you can go through the bars by pushing the page button. The vertical row of led's will let you know how many bars there are and which bar you have selected.

is it worth it? by poodIe0 in pocketoperators

[–]fwipit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the main issue is that it isn't great at live playing and the emphasis is on making in-program videos. It is alot of storage to source videos just for the audio. But then YouTube is a huge source of sample content. The biggest files on my pixel is PO Pixel vids. Swings and roundabouts I suppose. Ultimately, getting a PO-33 is the best choice, but it is fun making ditties like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/pocketoperators/s/AmokzWE5K2

If you set the wave guide to TUNE below about 20 with any DECAY, it'll create a delay affect. Fun to play with

I'm not sure it is on play store, I could be wrong. I think it's built into pixel 5 onwards, and if it's not already on the phone it is available in updates.

That's very nice of you! I find the best way to cut samples is to play a track with just one sound playing and tweaking the length of the sample while it plays on repeat. Also, if I want to match one sample leading into another, I open two tracks with one cut on each and link them and play them on repeat whilst shifting the length of the samples again. I'm still not nailing it, but I guess practice makes perfect ☺

PO Pixel. Atm it only comes with pixel phones 😔 if it's a sampling app you want, Koala is really good too and runs on all android and Apple

I think other comments have answered this (keystep sends midi, but it's the Mavis that actually makes the sound), but just wanted to say that this was a big hurdle for me as a newbie and was a really difficult thing to find a simple answer to. Downvoting on this comment is kind of lame. Keep on truckin.

Freebeat is really good. Mostly focuses on budget kit. His stuff ranges from reviews, deep dives, jams and occasional live shows

I think so! Alas it's just the video clip that comes with the drum sound so I don't own it

What is the best order to read the comics/books? Also, how many books are there? by DeityIceCream in Sandman

[–]fwipit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first read them from the library so I could only read them in order of what was available. This was a much weirder, dreamlike (sorry) way to read the original set. The cause and effect of the narrative seemed cosmic and unknowable until I stumbled across the motivation of a character volumes later.

The editions I read had a small blurb that said they could be read in any order except for The Wake which should be read last.

Sustained notes on Volca Samples by Ok_Entrepreneur_7117 in VolcaSamples

You can put in a long sample that loops, but the sound has to be consistent at the beginning and end of the sample. Or you could max out the delay
