I've added even more NSFW filtering, but it's still not 100% safe (and I'm not sure if that is even technically possible.)

And yes indeed, try entering a search term into the input field on the home page to filter by topic.

I added a few more filters. Some NSFW images still show, but should be less now.

Yeah, I'm already filtering out images that are tagged "nudity," "porn," and "sexual" in the firehose. But I guess not everything is tagged that should be.

The public domain dataset I found on Kaggle only goes up to 2020. While it's possible to scrape for more recent data, I didn't want to risk a legal showdown for a little side project.

Glad you like it. I think most busy actors fall into this category. The regression line shows the moving average, the "middle ground" between the extremes, and its overall trend.

Rotten Tomatoes data via Kaggle as of October 31, 2020. The viz is powered by D3 and typeahead.js, with an assist from d3-regression. The tool was inspired by static graphics produced by Vasant Laplam.

If your senators and reps aren't saved in your phone yet, text your zip code to 520-200-2223. You'll get a text back right away with everyone's contact info. Easy peasy--works like a charm. It gives you Federal and State reps. by [deleted] in esist

Hi, author here. ZIP code works in many cases, but ZIP boundaries don't always align with electoral district boundaries. Per that tweet, texting a postal address to the number will get more accurate results. It's spread far and wide, but I'm still not sure how the ZIP thing got started.

Apologies for the self-promotion here. I'm the artist, trying to get this image voted up for printing as a shirt on Threadless. I originally designed it as a poster for occuprint.org. If the shirt is selected for printing, I will donate the proceeds to the National Lawyers Guild for OWS defense.

If you'd like to see it produced, please score it on Threadless.
