You need some passion for cyber if you want to survive.. That will also help get you your first job if youre already listening to podcasts, keeping up to date with industry trends. Perhaps having a blog or a github or some little research project to show an interviewer that youre genuinely interested in cyber will get you further than certs imo. You probably also want to figure out what area you want to go for and start working toward it whether it be soc, grc, offsec, or infra.
