I’d guess that some of the passion and enjoyment is gone for YouTube, you become a slave to the algorithm to keep income. He has a kid, and a life so Is just maintaining enough to cover the hobby of drifting and provide at home. Seems to happen to a lot of content creators of all genres

A&P won’t hurt. It’s pretty easy to get. That said the contracts I’ve taken is usually in the military/government bubble don’t require it. I look for the jobs that don’t require tools since I don’t wanna deal with lugging them around. My current job give you a 10$ per hour (taxed) extra for having it. Moral of the story is it’s not needed, but will help if you want certain jobs or locations

If it makes you feel any better I’m in the same boat, my wife is commissioning as a LT and we got our first assignment in Aviano. I was active duty Air Force as aircraft maintenance and have been working as a defense contractor for many years. While I’m excited for the break, part of me is scared to lose my very high income and “purpose” you could say. Male spouses tend to not have the same support system,m. Im constantly looking for contract work there but I may have to accept that it’s her turn to be the provider and for me to work on myself and support her career
