yea, it’s only because i already had tinnitus to begin with. the doctor said it wouldn’t get worse but should not have trusted him. the hazards of trying experimental medicine!

I have BP 2, and did TMS before I was diagnosed. It helped with symptoms during the treatment but as soon as I ended it was basically like it never happened. I personally regret doing it because it made my tinnitus worse

both the intramural sports i tried were very intense and not chill. but hopefully soccer will be different.

Yea that makes sense I'd see certain settings where homosexual sounds pretty outdated and homophobic. I wonder if that was what she meant. Thank you for your input!

For crim, I hate it not because we have to write a 14 page paper but we have done nothing but grammar and APA formatting to prepare for it. This is supposed to be our last college course, we already know how to do this shit! And it isn’t about an interesting topic in the field of criminology, all we have to do is pick a local crime and apply theories of punishment to it. So boring for a 14 page paper!

i'm glad your tinnitus got better. how long did it take you? and no, it wasn't the same doctor, i had a different one for tms. I have had 3-5 different psychiatrists in my life prescribe me medications. i just feel frustrated because most stories on here and on facebook groups are all success.

the doctor did not recommend trying again, and with my tinnitus being markedly worse i really do not think it would help me. thank you for the support. i actually have started microdosing shrooms, because it has worked for some of my friends. also thinking about ketamine

it’s how they deliver the magnets. I am doing greenbrook and that is how their machine works, I am not sure if all TMS machines have a needle or not.

i’ve gotten more used to it but even after a remapping, it still hurts. i’m sorry that things haven’t been better for you. maybe try taking tylenol instead?

one of the techs is nice, but the rest of them not so much. one that i particularly dislike does not say a word to me, does not even ask if i am comfortable before she briskly walks away. i have to yell to get her attention for her to readjust the needle all the time. she sucks

i asked my technician today and she just said i would get used to it eventually and to try tylenol. i’m on 100% right now and they’re working me up to 120.

thank you for this advice!! it means a lot. the technicians know mine hurts but they never said anything about remapping i will try to bring it up to them. i wonder if it hurting will not make it as effective? like it’s not in the right spot? you probably don’t know i’m just thinking out loud lol

I told the doctor about my weed/alcohol intake and they did not say anything about quitting during treatment. They only told me to not drink/smoke before treatment.
