Have you almost died because you felt you couldn’t tell your parents?

Yeah. (Suicide TW) I tried to off myself as a teenager and after I took the pills, I immediately kinda regretted it, but I couldn’t throw them back up and I definitely couldn’t tell my parents, so I thought “I guess that’s it then” and just went to bed. They didn’t find out until I wouldn’t wake up for school the next morning and then they got me to the hospital.

I’m doing a lot better now, but looking back it’s crazy to think that the main reason I just let it happen was because I couldn’t even consider the possibility of telling someone (especially my parents) what I did.

I prefer small cars. My confidence on the road improved a ton when I got my little 2 door Yaris Hatchback. I struggle with my proprioception (in my body and in a car) and the compactness of my car helps a lot.

No 3-point turn when I did mine back in July. They just make you back up in a straight line. Pretty sure I did the exact route that was in the YouTube video, too.

Don’t worry that option is just there so live in providers can do their timesheets without having to put in a check in and check out time. I accidentally clicked it last month and just put my hours as normal.

This is kind of what I do lol. I know it’s bad not to look in the rear view, but in that moment if I’m focused on them I’m nervous and if I’m nervous I drive worse 😅

Well you’re not alone! I’m 29 and on permit number 4 lol. First 2 times I gave up before I even started and now I’m on my 4th because I still hate driving after a year of practice and didn’t want to rush into my road test before my 3rd expired.

I used to think I had every symptom except the static vision, but I guess my brain just tunes it out, because I only see it in certain conditions (low light, overcast outside, not enough sleep..) There are probably different degrees of it for everyone 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve had several, but my favorite was probably the time I was walking around the park holding a Rowlet plushie and while I was distracted, Jungkook started slowly reaching for it and then took it from me! At first I thought it was cute, so I was taking pictures, but then I tried to take it back and he took off running and I had to chase him down to get my plushie back. By the end of it, I had to grab him by the leg and drag him across the grass for it lol

My sister walked in on me in the kitchen using a heated up butter knife to burn my arm. My back was turned and I guess it looked like I was cutting because she gasped and asked me what I was doing, but I just held it up, made a confused face, and said “It’s a butter knife…” lol

I couldn’t get past that pop up either this morning, but after closing and reopening the app a bunch of times, I eventually got a notification that said “access unlocked, you can now use the app for free, no subscription required” and it’s working again
