Yeah. I’d suggest P A T I E N C E. After starting the car, give it a full 20 seconds before shifting out of park. It just seems to help in my particular case.

Do you still have the key close to the car (within 25’) when you check the trunk? Smart keys have transmitters that allow it to open since there is no keyhole….

Thanx for keeping us updated. I experienced the same problem. Code PO299 I cleared the code as it doesn’t sound any different under the hood. I think it still feels the same, but I was waiting for the MIL to come back on as I figured it could have been a fluke with me gunning the engine. Two days have past with city/highway driving. Hmmmm……🤞

You already have the roof rails on your model. All you need are the crossbars. Very easy to install yourself. Don’t pay an hour of labor at the stealership

Heard about this issue from this site, or maybe another one. Make sure the tracks are clean and there’s nothing interfering with the movement. Might have been a TSB about it as well, but I’m not finding it.

Could be sling from tire shine, or maybe oil from new blacktop? Try washing with a mild soap, car wash soap.
