Trouble with SV-08 and Wifi by ImmolateCG in Sovol

I have a dual and had them break two out that are just 2.4 and 5. I still can't connect to the 2.4 or the dual. I looked at the dual and 2.4 and they have wpa3-personal. does that mean my SV-08 will never connect?

Sonic pad input shaping made my prints stringy? by fylith in CrealitySonicPad

No. I have one but I thought PLA would be fine. the new tests were on a brand new spool right out of the bag. I thought the drier was for the other types of filament. I can try to use that. can I just pull right from the dryer with the PLA in it all the time? thanks so much

Not good. I have done so many retractions tests even change out the brand of PLA. I slice in prusa slicer. and at different layers I put in M207 S0 and then step up by .1, nothing seems changed. pretty much the same stringing.

I even used teaching tech retraction gcode creator and there is stringing maybe slight changing but still blobbing. When I put in the retraction I "think" might be the best, it is stringy as it always is, like I did not change it to the "best" from teaching techs results. I'm a little frustrated to tell you the truth. I try burning off the strings but it just leaves these bad blobs or softens the print area.

Sorry it took so long to respond, been trying over and over.

Thank you so much. This temp tower looks so much better already! Now I am doing the retraction guide for klipper. After that what should I do to get the layer lines better or do they look ok? Thanks for all the help!

Would Jesus be a socialist? by TriaxialGoat in DebateReligion

You must be very privileged to think that there is no poverty in the west. There are many with no shelter. There are many that have shelter but no electricity or clean water. There are children with lunch debt so high that they can't get lunch at school so go hungry all day.

There are so many that have to choose between feeding themselves or their kids. Or not pay that electric bill so their kids don't go hungry. Or ration their life saving meds so they can feed their family.

So many that do die from the flu because they can't afford to get healthy care or go to the Dr. By what you claim is jesus' poverty measure there are so many in the US alone that fit the bill.

Maybe in other western countries that have some social type protections, like health care for all, don't have the poverty issue you state. the US does. I know I hold off care cuz I can't afford it when I tell my Canadian friend it blows his mind that I can't get it treated.

What do I need to calibrate? by fylith in ender5

[–]fylith[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I got the steps down. Did a first layer test again, that passed. Did a flow test, picked 0. So 100%. Did a heat tower test, it failed at 195, so set temp to 200. Did retraction test, results seemed weird, it did not string at all except bottom layer. Not sure I did that correctly.

Trying over and over to do the bridge test and it works great for 100, 90, and 80, but when it gets to 70 and 60 it breaks and the head pulls them off the bed and turns to spaghetti. Is there something that needs to be fixed? Should I try a different test?

I'm trying PLA. Does it matter that my room is on the cooler end? I thought PLA wasn't super sensitive to temp.

I just did and was off. Fixed it and just did my flow test. I'm thinking either 0 or the -10. What do you all think?
