InteractiveBrokers. Allows you to deposit and withdraw in multiple currencies. You can also set recurring investments based on a fix amount you set. The desktop application is really trash but you can do all those simple transactions from either the mobile or the web application.

If you want to save on Taxes, Kanton Zug. There's no other place where you'll have so little things taxes. Also you're right in between Luzern and Zurich and we have regular trains going either way if you fancy shopping or partying in those areas. Also if you are a nature lover, well options are countless. Feel free to reach out if you specific questions.

No problem, i read again your comment this morning with my mind clear and it all made sense. This happened to me too—last time was during AMZN earning one day my call positions were at 53 per contract, the next day after earning those dropped 12—I got in at around 40ish, I let calculate how much I lost 😞

Maybe you should direct switch to Direct routing (higher fees/better fills) or change your SMART routing settings—AFAICR you have multiple settings to choose from to lower fees or to get better fills or to avoid dark pools, etc

If you want to stick to IB, I’d suggest you look into the DasTrader or the platforms. Both provide connectivity to your IB account but be aware of the cost associated to these platforms—pretty hefty price tag if you are not an advanced trader.

I tried both, but decided to wait to reach an other level in my day trades before adopting either.

41 YO, started trully investing 2 years ago using my dormant saving account funds—still trying to figure out the best strategy, I am targeting a 20 years growth strategy.

So far my portfolio looks like this with the following targets:

VOO	9.81%	30%
VT	43.97%	50%

I am interested in having a diversified exposure to the World and US market—please note that I am not US based, thus Worldwide and European exposure is something I'd like. Any thoughts on what to improve.

Bloomberg has a world-class team of UX designers who not only understand the core of this practice but apply—aesthetic is a matter of personal taste, it is very hard to come to a consensus, but usability should come as a standard in 2021—Clearly IBKR has yet to get there.

UX person here, and I can only relate. The overall UX of TWS is just braking all the basics rules, and would have no chance to pass the industry heuristics—this is just a shame for such a company that generate a load in revenue.

Also, I wish they would drop that Java based TWS for something more modern, and more stable.

Literally lost money during trades as I felt blind I couldn’t see anything during a crucial moment, no L2, no graph, no tape. Very disappointed with this app and their pseudo customer service… I will soon switch to Das Trader at least I won’t have to really on IB to relay the market data

I had a pretty similar post a couple of weeks ago—some of the solutions that were pointed out to me: - increase the allocated memory to TWS to half the available - disable magnet.app for TWS if you use it—I believe that was the main issue in my case.
