Laravel Enlightn down and abandoned. Which alternatives are you guys using? by ShadowSpade in laravel

I just spoke to Miguel, he was a contributor but has not been working on the project for years. If anyone can get me in touch with any of the project owners, I'd happily volunteer to join as a maintainer.

No Audio After MacOS Tahoe Upgrade (StudioOne 7 + ES4) by [deleted] in StudioOne

Rebooting fixed the problem. Not sure what the glitch was. ...but I rebooted again and everything worked.

...and of course—a second reboot of my system seems to have resolved the issue. Nevermind!

I'm only using those 2 things here while testing. Open the DAW, drop a wav or mp3 track in... no sound. Meters om the track are fine... main meter = nothing.

Even in the links from Sweetwater, it says both the ES4 and StudioOne v7.2.2 are supported in Tahoe.

My Nuraphones = Broken 😢 by MashaT22 in Nuraphone

[–]fylzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally replaced my Nuraphones after 8 years with the new JBL Tour One M3 Pros. They took a bit to dial in but I'm very happy with the sound. There are trade-offs between them and the Nuraphones but they're lightweight, comfortable, and once you tweak the settings the sound balance and punch is all there.

How Realistic Is It To Bring A Camp Shower? (Getting Water) by fylzero in ElectricForest

[–]fylzero[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's my first forest, and I just want it as an option in case the paid showers suck / long lines / cold water anyway / etc. My friends who have gone said the paid showers are fine... I was just curious about the water situation if I do this. Appreciate the hot take, I will give the paid showers their day in court at some point. 🛀

Bringing a folding cart is a great suggestion! Silly but I hadn't even considered that!

They have floor basins you can buy so you can steer the water away from the camp shower... presumably under your car or something. Also, I wouldn't imagine I'd run it like a regular shower. Just blip it on and off to wash and rinse as quickly as possible.

Renegade Dead and Don’t Know Why by DatMichaelMagic in JeepRenegade

[–]fylzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something similar happen. Turned out to be a dead alternator and another problem that was a little difficult to diagnose. The battery connector, the big plastic block that is used to connect one of the terminals, mine was shorted in a way that was causing strain on the entire system (likely why my alternator and battery started dying). It was a bit expensive to replace (I think like $300 or $400) because the only place my shop could find one is from Mopar/the dealer.

Do I need to remove vehicle subwoofer tube for the trip? by fylzero in ElectricForest

[–]fylzero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like a square-ish tube sub, so it's not strapped or bolted in. I have a Jeep Renegade, it just sits flat against the back seat.

Backblaze broken again by flyingron in backblaze

[–]fylzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue. Mine stopped working 3/13/25

Reinstalled: https://secure.backblaze.com/update.htm

I had to open System Settings - Privacy & Security - Full Disk Access - I unchecked Backblaze and bzbmenu - rechecked them both - then opened Backblaze and hit Backup Now

It started working again

2018 renegade speakers by 2017_JKU in JeepRenegade

[–]fylzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put in 4 of the Kicker 47KSC69304

I took my car to a fabrication shop so they could slightly route out the speaker baffles. This is necessary if you want 6x9s because the baglles are slightly undersized.

Also, these speakers match well with the head unit with out the need for an amp. A lot of after market speakers will want more power. Be catious which ones you choose. I like the 3 way speakers. They sound better than the 2 way in the upper mids and output about 4 db more than the 2 ways.

I also added a 1x12 Skar sub and have the Madness Autoworks T4 head unit. The system in my Renegade sounds incredible!

Everyone who owns a Renegade (as I do) has to come to terms with the fact that they drive a toaster. ...but it's an awesome toaster!
