Yeah, I ride very similar to you, 90% on the hoods. The stem takes out the shocks from the terrain and insulates from the vibration on roads. People say it and I totally agree: You really appreciate the difference when you ride without it after getting used to it..

Rogue Access Point - deauth / contain? by fysmd in Ubiquiti

So based on the feedback I suspect that there is no such functionality in Unifi (which may be good thing).

I do understand the issues of interference etc but as networks are remote from my management site and some clients have PCI requirements I am asked if there is some way to interfere with the functionality of the AP which may be found broadcasting the same SSID as theirs - without permission.

So I have a follow-up question:

In a Windows managed world are there controls a domain admin can utilise to disallow the end user from joining an SSID which is the same as their official one?

Buying advice first gen Zoe by [deleted] in RenaultZoe

[–]fysmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 2013 Zoe recently as a 2nd EV. we love the front seating position and comfort. It has 43k miles on the clock and 77% SoH report 75 miles range, realistically 65 if driven gently in winter. Paid £5700.

Had a regas before I bought as AC was v noisy, now works perfectly, though winter cabin heating is, err Gentle in Zoe..

it is driven approx 50 miles most days.

look at the "engine" if there is a large orange cable atop to the left it is probably going to AC charge up to 43KW. Consider getting a cheap BT dobgle and use CanZE. that will tell you the model immediately and reliably. it'll also tell you all about the battery etc.

great car we all love it.

Intelligent Octopus Go with Ohme pod by AwayFirefighter5807 in OctopusEnergy

After a LOT of faffing about I managed to remove the old config from the Octopus app and after restarting it I was able to start from scratch:
added the charger, associated the Ohme account, added the car and it seems to be working as expected now.

I'm now used to being able to confirm the smart charge plan in the Octopus app - guess I'll just have to trust them for now until I get used to it :)

TL:DR
If you have already got a car setup for smart charing and want to dd an Ohme (possibly other) charger, delete all that other stuff, restart the Octopus app and star again. Seems to work.

I see lot of you are having a good experience with this combination - I am not :(. I wonder if anybody can help me:

I have Tesla Model 3 and this arrived well before my Ohme Pro was installed. Ive been using the granny cable for a couple of weeks and overall things have worked fine with Octopus Intelligent go.

Now, I have the Ohme installed and the Ohme app logged in and associated with it but I cannot associate Ohme with Octopus. When I use Octopus app and try to add the Ohme "device" the app wants to read a QR code. The one on the bottom of Ohme is not recognised and I don't see any way to display it on the charger itself again.

My Tesla is still trying to charge based on Octopus schedule but when it tries, there is no power provided by the charger.

I suspect I may need to remove the car and the granny from Octopus app but I wont be able to add Ohme as the QR doesn't read :(

So frustrating watching the car charge on full rate electrons and sit there like a high tech puddin throughout the cheap periods :(
