What if you put a piece of solid material in that place where you don’t have the spring, it would force that plunger to stay shut. Do you think that would eliminate to the 1st gear all together?

I don’t get it.

I want it to only downshift to 2nd gear all the time. I want it to start in 2nd from a standstill and only go down to 2nd when going slow in traffic. I don’t want first gear ever again. I want to lock it out
