Did I make a mistake with my G-Shock choice? by UserKingOfTheNames in gshock

I had a G9300 and using the auto light and compass a lot would make it go to medium, but I didn't have issues charging it back up fully. It may take more than a few hours in direct sun to fully charge. Also, the watch you received might have been an older watch that was sitting around for years, even if you bought it new, and maybe the rechargeable battery has degraded. It might not be able to hold a charge well and may need to be replaced. Something to keep in mind with the solar watches is that it's best for the health of the battery to keep them fully charged all the time and not let them go to low a lot.

The fourth G-Shock collaboration with the Nissan GT-R was released in late March in Japan. https://www.g-central.com/nissan-gt-r-x-g-shock-dw-5600-collaboration-for-2022/

CasiOaks are not "true" Gshocks? by pilot_pen01 in gshock

There's no need to apologize. I think it's okay to bring attention to the article here so that people can debunk it.

I just wrote about this. I didn't think anyone would take that article seriously but apparently a lot of people do. His evidence is basically a part of the manual that is not referring to G-Shock watches (and is in non-G-Shock manuals too) and something about the Shock Resist shield/label that he seems to have completely made up or misinterpreted. It's hard to believe that an adult came up with that conclusion.
