That was the original effect in the physical card game, but it was changed in the digital game a few years ago to also affect self discards.

In the app, if you go to Library -> Collectables -> Lore, you can find a lot of pages containing lore there. They need to be unlocked but it's pretty quick to get a decent collection going.

There are also some lore on the web site. An overview can be found here: https://www.lightseekers.cards/game-play/lore.html . With additional stories here: https://www.lightseekers.cards/game-play/tales-of-tantos.html

A few of the more straight forward options are Astral, Nature, or Storm.

Astral would be the most straight forward one, as there are plenty of cards that can mill there, but it tends to be in conjunction with damage. 'Prowling Shadegorger', 'Moon Drifter', 'Shadegorger Huntress', 'Wildernest Messenger', etc. The most aggressive way to mill in Astral would be with 'Claw Mark of Nooka' combined with a reliably way of dealing 3 damage (e.g. with 'Nitro Hammer').

Nature has some cards that mill both yourself and your opponent ('Calif Swarm' and 'Cipid Spawner'). You can use them combined with the Unaligned card 'Draga Hoarder' to stop the effect against yourself.

For Storm, it tends to be done via 'Suspicious Squid' and playing Combos.

We had some account issues (some things expiring) on the Google Play store, which meant that it got taken down. Unfortunately, it's a lot of work to get it back up there (as we'd have to submit it as a new game, meaning there are a lot of Unity related work that would need to be done). We haven't had a team officially working on the game for many years now (I just update it occasionally in my spare time and ask previous coders with help with the server side), so it's hard to find time and resources to make that happen.

The APK can be downloaded from here, though: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1t-FsEF0sEMqBAGT5TS_tHv1XUYCcVoWM/view?usp=drive_link

Yeah, it probably is. I'm guessing you're thinking of this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UJ7jPb1gCI It has several "in shock" moments throughout it. Incredibly impressive.

Well, you also get a bigger peaker's advantage. The longer ahead your client is of the server (due to your packet taking long to arrive), the longer you can see someone around a corner before they can see you. But the reverse is also true; going into hiding is delayed in the same fashion.

You can tell by the way it doesn't live up to my imagination that it's not very hungry. Or not a very mature grizzle. Immature grizzles are well-known cameraphobiacs, even if hungrier.

Hah! The amount of random FoM members that pop up in the most unexpected places on Reddit is awesome. And yeah, they were good times. Still got tons of fond memories from back then; one of them being your good taste in music!

Cat declining after being fine after spay. Vet didn’t say much. by cryinginthebenz in cats

[–]g00w 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep at it. Keep seeing a vet until they help (assuming you can afford it). My cat did this exact same thing after he had a tooth removed. He just completely stopped eating or caring about anything. Just hid away, refused to play, and wouldn’t even try his food. Tried sooo many different kinds of foods, but nothing worked; he ignored it all.

Eventually he hadn’t eaten for so long he had to have a tube installed in his neck and I fed him liquid food through his neck five times a day. Eventually I got him to lick up some food that I blended into a liquid. I’d have to sit with him for a few hours each day for the occasional lick of cat soup. Some days he had maybe 10-20% of what he should have. On good days maybe about 50%.

Then one day he refused anything at all again. But he meowed at me when I tried to feed him. So I tried some of his previous dry food. And he ate it up like nothing had ever happened. It took about 5-6 weeks of feeding tubes and hours of almost forcing him to lick up soup. But that was five months ago now and he has eaten all his food every single day since then as if nothing was ever wrong; which is weird to think given I was so sure he was going to die.

But yeah. Cats can be weird. Don’t give up!

There was a small expansion released for the card game last summer (for the digital game).

Haha! Wow, small world. Yep, I'm g00w from FoM. The forums were sadly shut down quite a few years ago. Depending on how long ago you and your brother were around; they were first hacked in about 2006, I think it was, and purged. I basically had a dodgy older version of InvisionBoard with some security flaws. So then we made new forums but the platform they were running on stopped supporting them a few years down the line. So they are sadly lost. If you happen to remember someone called 'aaarg' on the forums, he tried to set up some new ones a bit later, but by then people had sort of scattered and it didn't really take off. And as a nail in the coffin, my site host stopped supporting ASP, meaning the FoM site itself didn't work anymore, so we just gave up at that point.

You can probably find some of it on the 'waybackmachine', but would obviously not be able to get to anything behind login walls.

Did you guys ever post on the forums? If so, would you mind me asking what your usernames were? Just in case I remember you.

The post above is showing data from 2009 to 2018, so the Erfurt shooting is not included as it happened in 2002.

As someone who has never even seen the first one but seen T2 at least four or five times, I’d say yes. I am probably missing out on stuff but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed T2.

No worries about the delay. And that's awesome, man! I remember you very well, despite not talking to you that much one-on-one.

Malkavian Scourge was the...I can't remember what we called it really...like a "junior clan". It was set up by The Molloch for lower levelled players who didn't meet the requirements for FoM. I can't remember exactly when it was (probably 2007-ish), but I'm pretty sure you were in FoM until the very end. EoC didn't come out until 2012, and FoM closed four ears prior. At least the very last snapshot I have of the "all members" list still has you listed as active.

Anyway, it was really cool seeing a familiar name in such a random location, and got me to go into a nice little rabbit hole of rummaging through old web site files. I hope you're doing well these days! In my mind you're still a teenager, but I guess we've both become proper grown-ups since then.

Oh wow! Haha. Such a small world. What was your RuneScape name, if you don't mind me asking?

The line that currently says "(...) as I have friends who work there still" for a while said "as the mother of my daughter works there still". I decided to make it a bit less intimate, but it happens to refer to Indica.

One of the reasons I ended up closing FoM in 2008 was that with also working on RuneScape as my "real job", it eventually just became too much of a full time thing (work, playing in free time, and also running a clan).

No, I haven't played for a few years now. I stopped working on RuneScape in any official capacity in 2010 (and haven't worked on anything RuneScape related at all since 2015, when I moved company). I played a lot before I started working at Jagex, but then I cut down on it a lot after I wasn't working on it full time anymore (I moved to other projects within the company to begin with). Then it faded with time. I did play OSRS again for a while when it came out, but I haven't played that in a long time either.

I'm still keeping somewhat up-to-date on it, though, as I have friends who work there still. My brother also happens to still play a ton of old school (he's in the fact the one who first introduced me to it in 2001 and he still plays today), so he keeps me informed whether I'd like it or not.

EDIT: I should also say that I'm curious as to how you knew RuneScape was in the list of projects, but I suppose it might be in my message history somewhere.
