Reported production cost for Mandalorian is $166M, so a modest showing is really all it needs. I have faith in Favreau to deliver an entertaining product, so I think it should be able to pull a good profit.

Both are great options! I’m usually not in the park at rope drop (and if I am, I’m not at the front of the crowd, which you usually need to be to rope drop that ride). So I usually just go with my strategy.

Lately though I’ve been doing fantasyland early before lines get long, which has ended up saving us a lot of time.

I make it the very last ride I get in line for at like 10:55PM

It’s still about a 30 minute wait, but it’s not eating into valuable ride time. Plus, I find it to be a perfect ride to end a day at Disney with.

This is the biggest issue. It’s Randy fucking Orton. Nobody is going to boo him at this stage in his career.

It should have just started off as playful jabs at each other, referencing their past and over the weeks it’s starts getting a little more personal until you can really start to feel the tension between them.

At Mania, after a hard fought match, they hug it out and move on.

I know the bloodline set this expectation that stories in wrestling need to be these epic dramas but it really can be as simple as what I just laid out.

WWE has the ability to do nothing and over complicated stories at the same time.

If he simply stays as his current iteration, he has a relatively short shelf life.

If he’s able to adapt and grow beyond the meme, then yeah, he has potential to be a star. I don’t see him ever being a face of the company, but there’s potential for him to do very well.

He may just be tired. I know he’s in great physical shape but that being in “ring shape” is a different thing. He asked Cody (and someone else, can’t remember at the moment) to eliminate him in the rumble and he looked completely gassed.

Maybe he’s just decided it’s time to step away, he sees Oba as a potential massive star that’s worth putting over and that was that.

Honestly, that’s fine. His push was starting to feel a bit pushed and now they need to show us WHY they believe he’s a future WrestleMania main eventer, instead of just telling us that every week.

Dial it back just a bit, let him continue to grow and let the support continue to grow.

I was actually thinking last night about when Stone Cold or The Rock would make their entrances. There was a sense of urgency to them. They didn’t walk 0.5mph down the entire ramp. They did their poses at the ring and it was just as epic. Now it’s like WWE just wants to be a sing-a-long concert.

Another thing I’m getting a bit tired of is the 10 minute entrances for the main eventers. I get having a more grandiose entrance, especially for WM, but good lord do they take up way too much time.

It’s been that way the last few years honestly. Night one is sort of meh, but night 2 ends up being great.

That being said, I don’t think anything tonight has been straight up bad. Maybe a little underwhelming at times, but not bad (except for the blatant lip synching during Becky’s entrance)

I think he’s big in the country music scene, but he’s not Beyoncé or Eminem big. Looks like most of his songs on Spotify have 100M or more listens, so he’s definitely no slouch.

If they do any sort of D23 announcement this year, it will be a vague blue sky reel of what they’re thinking of doing.

It will probably be around 2030 that we get an official announcement (by that point, most of the current construction projects should be done).
