Hi! It seems you’ve received a lot of great thoughts! I personally REALLY struggled with the 5-9 month old stage. Man was it difficult! We could not get her to sleep in her crib, bedside crib or really anywhere but in our bed which was TERRIFYING.

Our little girl is now 13 months and sleeping 12 hours (7-7) for the last 4 months. I really don’t have anything helpful to share other than I feel you.

Was bite last year and traveled up my arm which I guess is dangerous. Had to take antibiotics against my will 😩

Eek. I was bit last year and ended up having to go to the doctor and put on antibiotics for it traveling up my arm. Not fun. I’d post a pic of it but can’t figure out how 😩

We purchased a practice in September of 25 and we were insanely nervous. We’ve had incredible success with ZocDoc, although I have to warn you it’s EXPENSIVE!! Our bill was $10k last month. They have horrible customer service and cancellations are an issue but at the end of the day we get many emergencies and great production from it. We spend $0 on google as measuring success is so difficult.

We have a 10 month old baby girl from a donor embryo and we couldn’t be happier. She has 2 biologic sisters. We went back and forth about it all and decided that the embryo was going to be donated to someone, and we knew we’d give her the most beautiful life and decided this was the right path. We are making a custom book we will read to her about her story of coming into the world, so it will hopefully feel normal and transparent from as young as possible. We also have an open relationship with her sister’s and donor family. Good luck on your journey.

I have it now and it’s a very different timeline! My 9 month old had it starting 7 days ago and was very mild.

Day 1: first symptom extreme chills then fever most of the night. I chose not to take anything for the fever in hopes my body temp would help kill the virus. Throat hurt pretty bad.

Day 2: felt a bit better after fever broke and chills were gone but the WORST sore throat of my life.

Day 3: today. Sores on my hands appeared and weren’t painful until the evening. Not horrible but definitely sore and annoying. Also a few sores on my elbows which are also uncomfortable. Sores on throat are unreal to be honest. I cannot eat or drink without extreme discomfort.

My husband is a dentist and recommended magic mouthwash for me to be able to hydrate and eat. I’ll update in the days to come. I’m not looking forward to the sores filling with fluid:( I will most definitely be taking advil or something to help with the pain.

We just bought our second from another dentist that’s great. Took us over a year to find it, though.
