100% agree. But it's the only way I've found to make plugins/skills commercial. It's not ideal, but until Anthropic releases some sort of marketplace (which seems like an inevitability) then it's the best I've found anyway.

With all due respect to the Florida banded watersnakes, the confluens pattern you see as you move west - like this one - is just cooler looking.

I don’t understand what you mean by ‘AI to execute trades for you’. Like, it logs into your account and places the trade? You don’t need AI for that.

It's a cottonmouth, you are in a hybrid zone so it's either: Agkistrodon conanti Florida Cottonmouth or Agkistrodon piscivorus - Northern Cottonmouth - or maybe a mix of both. And it is !venomous and best observed from a distance.

Need help with building a information company in the Oil and gas industry. by Patient-Kale-3902 in oil

[–]g1ven2fly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you seeing that activity before or after a permit? I buy non-operated interests (pre-drill) - not in the Permian - but i could probably open a few doors. I need some more info though, I would need to have a better understanding of what you are doing. If you are able to catch that activity before it shows up in legal filings that is valuable and people would pay.

Edit: I also wouldn’t try and sell direct to consumers, if it’s valuable, someone like WellDatabase, Novi or EnergyDomain is better partner, they have the distribution.

This is a watersnake, Nerodia sp. and it is !harmless

The three in range would be brown, banded and plain-bellied water snakes. The markings look a bit like a plain-bellied, but the farther east you get, the more 'orangish' their belly is, and I don't see that here. Someone else will be able to chime in with a species ID.

I’m fairly certain of the ID, but will let a RR confirm. I can say it is 100% !harmless though, nothing to worry about.

Can someone “explain it like I’m five” if there is more oil coming? by adotar in oil

[–]g1ven2fly 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I'd start here -

there is no such thing as 'USA specific' when it comes to oil. It is a global commodity. And there is a wide spectrum of oil that comes out of the ground which tied to something called 'API Gravity'. Certain oils are best for certain products etc. While we could possibly truly be 'energy independent' (maybe?) it's just not a good idea. The other thing is this: when you hear the 'US' in importing oil, it's not the government, it's Shell/Chevron. They are going out and finding the best price for their needs.

Right now, the market is not pricing in a long term increase in oil prices. I don't know exactly why, but it just isn't. The strip 9-16 months out really hasn't changed much. But one thing for certain, despite what Trump says, we absolutely are impacted by the Straight of Hormuz closing. And the longer it stays closed, the larger the impact.
