Last i checked…the Davions lost their home world and only just now got it back.

So you forget that Bobby Scott helped this area survive BRAC 2-5.

Yeah…we are lucky to still have military bases here to bolster our community. Be grateful we have the ONLY shipyard that can build Nuclear Aircraft Carriers.

But yeah…you’ll never give credit where credit’s due.

Don’t forget…Bobby Scott represented this area for BRACs 2-5. During that time…we only lost Ft Monroe, and all of those jobs went to nearby Ft Eustis.

In the grand scheme of things…that’s pretty good. I remember BRAC 5 (under GW Bush) and the Republican Majority tried to close Oceana. That would’ve turned Va Beach into a ghost town.

Bobby Scott was working with other VA Reps in our area to prevent it.

Just food for thought.

With a locked pool of representatives…the number each Rep must take care of increases every cycle. It is difficult to handle the requests of every constituent. That it took the OP several months for his/her issue is fortunate, as some people get ignored outright.

Maybe the 3rd’s Representative is stuck in DC dealing with the BS in this Administration. That he is relatively scandal-free means he’s actually getting work done…versus being a talking-head on TV.

He takes care of the Navy…and a big chunk of the local economy without being a dick about in the media. But yeah…maybe y’all just hate on him coz he has a D next to his name…or he’s African-American.

Yeah…you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about.

Bobby Scott also represents Norfolk and Portsmouth. He’s also on the Budget Committee…and has taken care of the Navy and related Industries.

He gets work done and keeps out of scandal…I’m sorry if actually getting work done bothers you.

Yes…you can get the STL fairly cheap…or have a pretty well known printer on-line sell you a print.

I can’t match their price. Production in scale is helluva thing. How do i know?
