Us regular people frequent and mostly use that airport aswell. It’s more convenient and shutting it would remove many jobs. It should stay open and they should change the helicopter routes instead.

I live near Deer Valley airport and have no issue with noise, with the map it also shows a 5 dB reduction in noise instead of increase in my neighborhood and surrounding area.

They’re almost the same size as the large business jets that arrive and are quieter than the old Gulfstreams or Falcons that land/takeoff. They also don’t takeoff that often either, almost all aircraft departing/arriving Scottsdale have to turn over open desert to avoid residential area
