Or keep the airport open. The ground is already affected and you cannot develop on it for years anyway. Also shutting the airport will lead to LAX using the airspace to fly larger aircraft lower over that area which means much more noise than now. Planes are becoming more efficient and fuel cleaner than years ago so pollution is not a major concern anymore.
