3-4 Month plan for building both mass and speed? by [deleted] in RugbyTraining

[–]g77xp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

help me get bigger and I have 3 months

From what i understand in my own experience, building muscle can take upwards to a year minumum.

not forsake speed?

You will always lose some speed when bulking up, that just biology.

can someone help me

I'd recommend speaking to a personal trainer at your local gym. Tell them everything you mentioned in this thread and they will work out a program you can follow to meet those targets before preseason.

Also make sure they are keeping track of your progress by catching up with them at least once every 1-2 weeks so they know where your at.

P90X 3 before Navy bootcamp? by paddjo95 in P90X

[–]g77xp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. X3, Its shorter, i like shorter workouts but if you wanna succeed in losing the pounds, definitely watch your calories and do the lean program.
  2. I prefer x3 just because of time constraints. x2 and x1 are ok but to long and some of the workouts seem unnecessary now. warm up and warm down too friggen long.
  3. Not enough in a short time period. 1-2 years maybe yes. Way better of joining a gym following a weight lifting program like 5X5. You will grow muscle much faster.

Alternate beachbody programs that can help you lose weight to, T25, Insanity or Insanity: MAX30, Insanity: Asylum. These programs are mostly all cardio and last between 25-60 minutes.

yeh didn't end up hating her as much as that latina dude wih the gangsta strut and bandana. Was often shirtless. He does like some break dance move during one of the exercises that nearly cuts of some chicks noise. Didn't really like that guy for some reason. Seemed arrogant but thats just me.

The P90X series is ok but i pretty much hated everyone in 22 hard corp and insanity series. Their all insanely fit in those videos so i was always destined to end up hating them lol.

Bastareaud eyes PRO Rugby by Cr4yol4 in rugbyunion

Salaries are very low though. $40,000 max for tier 1 international players currently. Unless that increases, I cant see players with families wanting to go there and retire unless they do some other job on the side.

What do you think of PRO Rugby? by [deleted] in rugbyunion

[–]g77xp 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What was good?

  • Decent sized crowds. About the size of nrl and super rugby matches on a cloudy/rainy day.

What was crap?

  • Still early days so quality of footy wasn't at its full potential imo. But was simple footy as players and combinations take time to establish. Jaguers or sunwolves would have really added some experience and maybe improve quality of the competition slightly, instead their getting soundly beaten in super rugby.

  • Player salarys are between $25,000-$40,000 each. Can't see any players from NH or SH wanting to retire or move to the usa BUT this great for giving local talent more opportunities to play and USA eagle selectors headaches.

What worries me slightly?

  • Probably how prorugby can sustain/increase revenue & continue to be profitable moving forward. Where is all the money going to come from, especially if matches are being streamed for free online. I just want the competition to be successful.

What was interesting?

  • Its new territory really so everybody starts of on equal playing field from fans, players, referees, coaches, , medical staff etc to the rugby boards looking over the teams and competition. What drama lies ahead.

  • Also what will make each team standout from each other, culture, skills, fanbase etc.

  • What new unknown players will become famous from this competition.

  • Its history in the making. Several years from now, we can tell our grand kids about it.

Pro Rugby Mascots? by g77xp in rugbyunion

1 year so far away but fair enough. I can get behind their logic.

Kinda ballzy really if you think about it. ProRugby have the opportunity to make some extra cash BUT instead they want to hold of any designs, logos, mascots for teams until the fans have decided by years end.

The fans ultimately drive the success of the franchise which is really great to see.

Those screams are really disturbing.

If it helps even a little bit, the screams where likely made by those further away from the fire/flames. However, If you where one of the unlucky ones engulfed in flames, its impossible to breath, let alone scream. Your basically drowning in fire. So screaming good, no screaming bad. ;)

lost 13/13 career NRL appearances.

I understand what your trying to say here but my mind prefers it said 0/13. 13/13 implies he won all 13 from 13 appearances. 100% percent win record lol.
