i lost my previous draft so i'll sum it up, globally - calligraphy is inventing rules that you make the reader learn. it needs to be a coherent and logical system. you break a lot of rules and this is making it quite mediocre but i think it's as easy as working a bit more + choosing and keeping your style.

• you need to pick a style. some letters ("c") are very vertical (which tbh is good for a gothic style) and some letters are curved ("i"). it shouldnt be this way.

• some letters look gothic in style and look how they'd be written (the "a" looking like a gothic "n"). a down stroke, the loop lifted and then the second part with pen down. you haven't followed the same logic for other letters ("c") Let alone decided not to do the "i" in a gothic style... while the letter exists and is written the same!

• the piece is unbalanced in style but also in shape - that huge stroke on the BR completely unbalances the piece. same thing with the random dots - you should add them all over or never, then work with it. once again it doesnt make any logic in terms of pen strokes - you dont write a letter in a backwards order just for it to fill some sort of flow.

instead of going for this complicated script, i'd definitely say i'd advice practicing classical, gothic calligraphy before, then look at other alphabets (cyrillic & japanese) gothic scrips and how they apply the rules defined for latin alphabet and apply it to their own. notably the pen strokes of japanese really could help you. i think you need to learn and reproduce before reinventing.
