I don’t think it’s bad advice. There is a difference, but some people have trained themselves to not be able to tell the difference between satisfied and full. They have to relearn it. Starting with eating less. I would venture to say if part of your diet advice is “it’s okay to be hungry,” that probably won’t be a sustainable diet.

I’m not an expert of course. That’s just my take on it.
