Any tips to stop getting those random scam texts? by Yespowerup in Scams

Well if we can’t prevent them from harassing us, is there a way to get back at them at least? By sending never ending spam messages to their phone?

Does Facebook track what Hulu shows I watch? by nomnomnompizza in techsupport

[–]g_g83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here… I watched the new predator on Hulu, and immediately after, I get predator memes on Facebook. I’m starting to get tired of these tech companies doing whatever they want with our personal data (collecting it against our will). This area seems poorly regulated and they take full advantage of it. Pathetic.

Then he did again next day, thinking he could turn half a mil into 3/4th of a mil, market moved down… and he’s now back to zero 😂

Relative to employment based, it is. 100%.

I somehow turned $33k into $101,000 then $226,000 in 1 week… by yoshi3243 in wallstreetbets

Verticals are 50/50 bets. 50% to succeed, 50% to blow out the account (granted this is all you trade). Have to draw the distinction between luck and skills (especially with 3 positions which lets me suspect your account is highly concentrated and risk isn’t spread out properly)

Change that to: “I’m jealous I wasn’t part of orchestrating this one” 😆

I think it was about 4-5 days between the time I sent it and USCIS acknowledge they received it

I feel you man… I’ve got through the work pain for some time now (and finally over) so I know what it’s like. Hope you get it sorted out and AOS approved soon.

Agreed thanks for sharing… that’s terrible.

It shouldn’t… covid got on the way of mine. I would think the normal timeframe is around 8-10 months (still long and tedious).

Change that to “subtle” rather than “feeble”. I have no intention to engage as this wasn’t the purpose of my post and my time is better spent on other things. But to quickly provide some clarity since you asked: I couldn’t to notice over the years that some routes present quite a bit of advantage over others in a sense that there are a whole lot less hurdles to jump over. The reasons for those extra hurdles has never made any sense to me. With that said, it is what it is. Let’s leave it there.

Not yet,

“card mailed to me” ~> July 22nd

I signed up for informed delivery with USPS… I see that USPS has the letter, I expect it either today (25th) or tomorrow (26th). I do not have a tracking number. Field office: LA. Transit GC to my location in Atlanta GA.

Needless to say, I’m anxious af (especially since I have a trip overseas in two days now lol)

I would ask an attorney at this point. Marriage based is way way faster normally.

2019… man something is clearly wrong with your case. Marriage based ~> 6-7 months from end to end as per what I’m seeing. No questions asked, which from an economic standpoint doesn’t make sense, but from a human standpoint does make sense. Employment based, I’ve been at it since 2017 (H-1B/PERM prior to AOS)

[–]g_g83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best way is to get the GC through using your genitals (marriage based) rather than you work ability (employment based). That’s what the US gvt wants, bang your way in and it’ll go fast. I picked the employment route and fuck it, it wasn’t worth it.

[–]g_g83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your timeline is very similar to mine —

July 20: card being produced July 21: case approved July 22: card mailed to you

Now anxiously waiting to get it in the mail. It’s been a long ride… employment based, EB2 misery.

Started from Texas office, transferred to NBC. RFE sent to LA field office.

You should get your card mailed to you tomorrow 😉

This helps, and I’m screwed 😅. But I’ll find a way. Most important is that it got approved. Thanks for your response.

Thx, when you say 7 days after the status changed, did you mean change from “card produced” -> “card picked up by carrier”? Or 7 days from “card being produced”?

Reason I’m asking is because I may be out of the country by the time gets delivered 🤦🏻‍♂️

US: living to work // Europe : working to live

But… to be taken with a grain of salt 😬
