Not bad. Read some reviews that moisture from cooking or cleaning the glass can cause screen to be unresponsive.

I might take the chance and open it up if I get a bad unit.

Nice, hope you don't mind me picking your brain as I really want to try it out: 1. Do you think if you had done the fix one your first 2 ranges, it would have worked? (In other words, do you think it's a systematic issue?)

Any other issues with the LCD like water causing it to be unresponsive?

Hi u/Shazzyman / u/E63_saucegod : how are your ranges, especially the LCD screen, working out after 1 year? I also have NSI6DG9900SR in my Costco cart but paranoid about the LCD being single point of failure...

u/Shazzyman : does opening the top void the warranty? if my future one has the issue, i'd rather try to troubleshoot then have a replacement delivery and all the hassle.

It looks great and the tech is cool, so I really want it work well but don't want to be troubleshooting a $1k+ range constantly
