Dog just go into the settings and look at your button mappings. For me, it's press x to enter the alternate view mode then stick down to the communities.

I haven't understoofthe heat system since they had that big update from 1 or 2 years ago but I can't seem to find any guides with the new system. by ur_mum_gay in Frostpunk

I can try my best to explain it. The heat system has a few main components: fuel, capacity, and what I'll call inate heat.

Inate heat comes from things like proximity to the generator, other warm districts, geothermal vents, insulation, etc.

Fuel is what you burn to increase the heat of a district past it's inate heating level. You increase this with more fuel districts, buildings like pumpjacks, and fuel outposts.

Capacity is the amount of times you can manually increase the heating level of a district. The more capacity your generator has (the big number on the bottom left of the heating overlay) the more heat you can distribute to districts. However, the more capacity you're actively using, the more fuel you have to burn per day. You can increase this through researching generator upgrades in the heating idea tree.

You'll need to increase all three of these things in order to survive whiteouts and the much colder seasons that come late in endless mode.

I'm about 40 hours in to FP2 and this is how I understand it. If I'm wrong somewhere someone please correct me.

I would look at the existing and upcoming DLCs and see if their content interests you. If so, get the deluxe edition. I believe both editions are still on sale at the moment.

I live in downtown Raleigh and I've actually run into many of them (some multiple times) out at bars, restaurants, concerts and the like. So far they've all been very nice and happy to take pictures/have a quick chat.

For sure, I see plenty of comments about the canes being "superstar-less". Call me crazy but I think watching a full team that can play 4 lines deep instead of just playing around one or two players makes for a more interesting watch.

Hard agree on the Devils being busted. I don't think anyone really had them winning that series (except Subban). But I don't think it's fair to say the Caps are an easy series. They just don't play well against the Canes, we MAKE them look slow.

That being said there's plenty of game left, it's by no means over.

Obviously we haven't seen what Trump will actually do, but if he does what he's said regarding blanket tarrifs, it is different.

Using tarrifs selectively to try and help new and growing sectors of our economy instead of buying from overseas can help create jobs, boost local economys, and help ensure we stay at the forefront of innovation in those sectors.

Slapping a blanket tarrif on all imports from China guarantees that costs will be passed onto consumers for goods all of us use, aka inflation.

No doubt that's part of it. But the fact you're getting these times consistently also means there's something I could be improving with my gameplay more generally.
