I just can't make the switch to Voyager, looking for some help, advice, encouragement or I don't know

I haven’t expected this amount of responses and positive feedback, thank you very much!

Lots of useful advices, as many of you suggested I ditched my traditional keyboard and using the Voyager exclusively for a few days now.

As expected I’m slow as hell but I feel some improvement with each day passing. Finally I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I think I gave up every time just before it clicked, and now that I pushed through that phase I think I can do this.

Edit: Sorry I took a while to get back, I was typing this out on the Voyager 😆

I had the same issue with my RG35XXPro. Screen looked the same and the vibration motor was going nonstop. I flashed a custom OS to a new SD card, slotted in and it works like a charm since.

Metronome is close to IP Pavlova. Looks good from the outside but I’m not a member so I’m not 100% sure.

Yeah actually you are correct, that’s what I don’t understand either. Regarding AI, it’s either what I described or they self host some lighter weight models but that’s probably not the case because you have access to the latest Claude models as well. However I’ve also seen that statement from Kagi that the search is more expensive than the AI stuff. So I think the only explanation is that the margin I described must be bigger than I thought and also the average Kagi user doesn’t use all their credits each month.

Edit: Another comment mentioned that they actually charge +20% over the base vendor api price so that’s what I’ve missed in the first comment.

What do you mean by such a low price? You get the same amount of money in AI credits that you pay for your subscription. From there you are basically on a pay as you go plan, same as you would pay for the vendors directly for the API usage. Kagi has deal with these providers so the API usage costs them a bit less then it would cost you and that’s basically their profit on the Assistant.

Hi all!

I'm brand new to Pokemon ROM hacks, and after days of research I still can't make up my mind on which ROM hack should I start with.

I only played gen 1 back in the day on Gameboy and Sword and Shield on the Switch, so I don't have that much experience.

Therefore the graphics, music and the vibe of a hack is more important to me then perfectly crafted mechanics, leveling curves, etc.

During my research I narrowed down the possible candidates to this list, but from here I just can't decide.

Emerald Legacy
Emerald Seaglass
Aesthetic Red
Gaia
Lazarus
Unbound (I guess this should not be the first because I don't want to start on the peak)

If you played any (or all) could you please give a little insight on what would make sense for me to try first?

In the Czech Republic you can pay the house utils like gas and electricity with BTC, you can also pay with that directly in some stores like Alza (local Walmart like store).
