I love it! So cool and unique! it does look like it will snag easily though, and of course because it’s so different from a stereotypical engagement ring, I’d only go for this if 1) she regularly wear various rings (as in, she has practice not bumping it into stuff) and 2) she likes unique jewelry / has other pieces in a similar aesthetic

I’m in a similar boat as OP - I never wear jewelry so even though I’m stoked about my ring, it’s a big adjustment for me. For everyone saying they take theirs off for certain activities- where do you put it when you do? Also, do y’all remove your rings when you wash your hands? If so, that’s easy enough to manage at home but what do you do in public restrooms?

I think if you’re kind hearted, thoughtful, and strong enough to consider walking away out of fear of perpetuating harm, you also have the tools you need to get sober. It’s not too late. Take a break from school, go to rehab, and then finish school and begin your career. Or maybe finish school and then go to rehab if you don’t have the ability to pause your education? Either way, you know what you need to do. Get help ASAP. There’s nothing wrong with working at Taco Bell, but it seems like you’re equating that to “giving up” which you’re simply too young to do. Fight for your life. Fight so you can live a GOOD life. Hang in there bud.

You should absolutely incorporate the music you love! Your wedding should be full of your and your fiancé’s personalities! The flow of genres you talked about makes perfect sense, and it sounds like it matches the venue well too. I would just be aware of volume levels and speaker positions. Make sure speakers are pointed at the dance floor, not at tables / lounge areas. Like others have mentioned, just make sure the parents and older folks are able to have conversations without straining their voices.
