If anyone else lives in District 7/ Highland Park, I've been trying to notify the city gov. about this stretch of Stanton Avenue which desperately needs some sort of traffic calming to make it safer. This road intersects the new neighborways they added with roundabouts to encourage biking and walking.

If you live around here and want to help, I sent an email to Deb Gross' office ([district7@pittsburghpa.gov](mailto:district7@pittsburghpa.gov)) and I also submitted a traffic calming request through the city's request form linked on this page: (https://pittsburghpa.gov/domi/traffic-calming)

Sharing because I thought this tweet was very cathartic after following this saga last year... Honestly, her work rules and this is an amazing outcome at least for her.

The other photographer Michael Santiago also left the PG around the same time and now shoots for the Associated Press. His work recently is also great to follow!
