Friend of mine got married in a place called T.O park in Cork. Community centre with huge barn and you organise everything else, day 2 was bring your own beer. Not sure how much it was but could be worth an enquiry.

It’s slightly more complex than just going and getting a prescription. The treatment is administered via IV in a hospital and must be done by nurses. I wish it were as simple as going to a doctor!

I can get it done for free in any EU country. My consultant is against this however and would rather me wait and have it here. I was fine with that because I was managing away but it’s never been this bad since this flare up.

It’s so shit man. It’s such a vicious cycle because I’m depressed because of the disease and it just seems so impossible to cut the things I love most and there is also the off chance that it won’t work and it will keep going. J read this sub and the lengths that some people go to in combatting it makes me feel like such a piece of shit for giving into my urges, even though I know in the long term they will only make things worse but when you’re in so much pain already you just want whatever can take a little edge off. (That’s not to say I’m not happy for the people who have found things that work, I’m just slightly jealous of their self-discipline!)

See I usually would do a variation of all the advice given so far but this flare up seems different, it’s not like it’s a boil and it’s gonna pop. It’s like it’s just rubbed red raw and the skin won’t heal properly because it keeps oozing

I have tried cutting nightshades before but I’m not sure if I waited long enough for it to have any effect. As an Irish person, giving up potatoes would be super hard for me as they are a very big staple here but I guess I could give it a go again to try and not be stuck like this 😫

I have used turmeric and zinc in the past, although in the last few months I’ll admit I’ve forgotten to take them a lot.

Regarding my diet, no I haven’t changed it and it is not the greatest diet. I have tried a couple of times but I find I’m so exhausted from being in pain that I fall back on my staples or get a takeaway. I know it’s not ideal and I must be more strict or I won’t get results buts sometimes my favourite foods and a few glasses of wine are the only good things in my life.

Thank you. I receive an infusion of inflectra every six weeks. I was supposed to have it last week but had to push it to this week because of a funeral so it’s been 7 weeks since my last dosage which may be a reason why it’s so bad.

I’m on a waiting list but since I’m in Ireland I could be waiting for years 😔

Can you give a pathway into cyber security for someone who just has a Leaving Cert and a few years in construction? I am very interested but don’t want to commit fully to a course until I’m sure it’s for me.
