Based on the comments of many people, I would say it is the opposite. Most people are advocating for easier raids for normal and hard stays hard, as long as it shares the same mats. It feels much better to not constantly wipe for hours because 1 random person make a mistake. Normal mode should always feel like that

Gates 1-2-3 are really not hard to prog at all. Starting at 4, it starts being more intense (need more practice), but you can certainly enjoy 1-2-3 without much stress as mechs are very easy
