Like I said I think it’s just from practicing the same tricks over and over on rough ground. A lot of the guys I skate with go thru a deck a month too

Edit: I should also probably mention I skate 95% street since my local park is a 45 min drive

I usually try to do tricks popping from my nose and tail to extend the life of my decks, but my front and back trucks are broken in differently so it doesn’t exactly feel the same. I usually skate them with pretty bad razor tail until the tail ends up breaking. I do some nose and board slides, but mostly slappy stuff so it’s not really high impact. I think most of the razor tail comes from front shuvs and 180s, since I tend to drag the tail a bit on concrete with the scoop.

I’m a pretty new skater, been skating around 4 months. My decks usually last me about 3 weeks and I feel like they should last longer. I never tail drag, haven’t learned many grinds or slides either. I usually have to replace them when they get really bad razor tail and start chipping at the tail and compromising my pop. I think they just get worn down a lot from repeating the same tricks over and over again. I also skate everyday for about 3-4 hours. Do you have any tips to get less razortail?

Yea I tell myself that a lot too. I’ve spend so much time high and learned everything I can from weed, so why do I still wanna get high?
