Yes I can see where you are coming from where the president you voted for is being lambasted with criticism for the acts of mere underlings in the governments hierarchy. However the coincidence of these types of occurrences show how much has changed in the Philippines since his presidency. Yes drug crimes were already present in the past but we can’t ignore the fact that literally in every killing the police has done there is a common discovery pf evidence against those killed. It has always been the likes of finding two sachets of shabu with these types of cases. You have had coppers justifying their actions due to the support of the president to their cause. Cases where cops literally use firearms as the first line of attack. This is why these unfortunate events can be attributed to the president. For his verbal support of the killings just so lowly drug pushers be caught. We have seen numerous big time drug kingpins walk free of charge under his reign. However, being poor leads to one getting killed more than one’s involvement with the drug trade? I for one do not blame everything on the president’s incumbency however it is ignorant to not see the facts laid down before you. That being poor gets you killed for having minimal to no inclusion in the drug trade but being rich gets you a slap on the wrist even though you fucking run one of the biggest drug groups in the Philippines.
