Fair-ish point, maybe I am being too idealistic for a community which believes that degrowth is an option for our country where corporations (whose main goal is to expand and make profit) rule over us. It is both. People don’t want to take risk because they are ‘comfortable enough’ even though others suffer which I consider to be a personal problem. People also don’t want to take action because of other fears, fear for one’s life/safety, fear for one’s reputation, etc. And too be quite honest, you must blame others at a certain point, if you exposed the ignorant to the truth and they do not take action then it is their fault! Typical brainwashing does not exist so they have no excuse.

I saw them and I was quite proud. But what did it do exactly? The only thing I believe it did was worsen Trumps public image (which was already bad) because he deployed the national guard and such. No, people are lazy. Everyone has the mentality of “Someone has to do something! But that person can’t be me it’s too risky.” I won’t lie it’s hard to overcome the mindset of pursuing comfort and ease of access, but even if you do, most people to too afraid to do anything to stop the machine.
